GLENDALE, AZ (KPHO) - Glendale police Wednesday morning said they believe that 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley's body was placed in a trash receptacle in Tempe prior to her being reported missing on Oct. 11.

It's been more than two months since Jhessye Shockley disappeared, and now, Glendale police say reliable tips have led them to believe the little girl was killed and dumped in a trash bin before she was reported missing.

Investigators say they are analyzing a landfill, which they plan to start digging through.
