What the heck? This woman is like, IMO, any murderer who has to go to the scene and check in the hopes that nothing is found. Like scott peterson when he went to the bay to make sure the body didn't surface.

She knows her daughter murdered Jhessye in an unfathomable and gruesome manner. And she is doing everything possible to try to thwart justice, IMO.

And she dares to compare the rescue of her children to slavery? No, lady, they took those kids because you sacrificed them, against California law, to a known child torturer, proving you cannot protect them and do not care to. As a direct result of your actions, one of your beloved grandbabies is dead.

It is sickening, immoral and evil that she dares to compare her situation, one she created, to the horrors of slavery inflicted on the innocent.

Wait, let me take that back. She's right. This situation is akin to slavery. And she and her darling daughter are the slave masters! She bought and sold those babies! And once they were sold, they were enslaved in inhuman conditions, until one died from her enslavement.

The only reason I can think of why Shirley would go to the search site is to disrupt the search. The searchers probably realize it and are trying to ignore her. I wouldn't be surprised if she was suggesting places for them to search just to get them off track. Shirley thanks the searchers but avers that Jhessye isn't in the landfill. She obviously doesn't want the searchers to find evidence. If/when they find something, I wonder if she'll insist on handling the evidence.

I agree with everything you are saying here. I thought about "Tell Tale Heart". It seems that the closer the searchers are zeroing in on Jhessye's location the louder her heart beats because she knows what her daughter did with Jhessye's body. :banghead:

That phrase "her family" always makes me think of Tycora, and those relatives that actually raised Jhessye and loved her. They are Jhessye's family.


The only thing that's owed to Jerice and Shirley is a long jail term.

Apparently whenever Shirley had to face consequences in her life, she used the race card and got away with it. Maybe people appeased her because she's so loud with her complaints. Now she's trying the same old tricks again but it's not working this time. She also taught Jerice how to scam and use misdirection to try and deflect blame and responsibility for her actions.

It may have been effective for them at times in the past....but they can't make people forget about Jhessye, or back away because they pull the race card.
Jhessye is gone, and no scams or racial inferences will cover up a murdered child.

I am truly in awe at the restraint shown by Jhessye's true family. Those people loved her so much and I don't know how they refrain from pulling a beat-down on Shirley.

I assume (careful) that it would have had to be a pretty solid lead to commence such a long and expensive search in an area so far from where Jhessye likely was killed.

Was it the friend/relative who stated they gave Jerice a ride? Was she carrying the suitcase?

LE says they received a credible tip that Jhessye was dumped in a specific trash recepticle in Tempe AZ on a specific date. The landfill currenty being searched is the landfill that the contents of that trash recepticle would have ended up in.

LE immediately secured the area where that specific truck would have dumped that specific day's garbage. LE then waited months before conducting this search. I believe that delay was for two reasons:

1) to further investigate and substantiate the tip which led them there, and

2) to plan the logistics of conducting a search that would result in the best possible odds of locating Jhessye if she is there.

LE has stated they feel they are currently searching in the appropriate area of the landfill that matches up with the date, time and location of refuse dumped from the area/recepticle they feel she was disposed.

I hope they are successful. I think LE feels pretty confident in their lead and that gives me renewed hope that they are on the right track.

It does make sense that the tip would have to be quite credible to take on a search of that scale. I just wondered if I had missed something in the threads where LE gave specifics. But of course they likely wouldn't have.

What does she think she is doing ~ asking for a tour of the landfill ~ oh sure, anything to make you smile, granny. Wouldn't that tour be risky? She must be planning to have an 'accident" so she can sue the county and everyone connected to the dumps. Oh say, can she sue?

Please, please find that precious little girl's body. Jhessye needs a proper burial, and a headstone displaying her beautiful face, and lots of butterflies.

Everytime I see a butterfly i think of Jhessye and wonder if today will be the day that she is found and her mother brought to justice.

It is infuriating that Jherice and Shirley are walking free while Jhessye is most likely in a landfill after suffering at the hands of her mother.

How fitting that Shirley finally visited the landfill. She and Jerice are absolute trash and human garbage and they deserve to be there,not beautiful little Jhessye who was so very loved by the relatives who raised her.

I pray they find Jhessye soon.

In that news link with the video of shirley. If you freeze frame you can read some of the things she has written on that paper. One of them was (paraphrasing) something about the tip and how do you know Jhessye is there. Another was what kind of technology are you using?

I laughed my butt off. Really? Ya think they are going to answer all those questions SCOTT MAASEN? Who do you think helped shirley, who can barely compose a complete sentence, think of what to ask in that meeting?
