It breaks my heart thinking of the pain/sorrow/dread she and the other cousins must have felt to have to give her back to that child abuser. My heart really goes out to her.

#JericeHunter didn't seem open to Jhessye after she came back into her life.

she was five when she died. The cousins raised her til she was 4 and a half. So 6 to 8 months with her "mother" and she was dead.

This statement puzzles me, can anyone else explain it? Why would you have a relationship with a child you are not in contact with? How can you have a relationship without some kind of contact? Which child/children is this referring to and what does it mean??

I wonder if it means Jerice made it clear she had no interest in receiving updates or photos of her baby as she grew while in the care of the cousins and Jerice was in jail.
