Just to review, the defense seems to be conceding that there was a blood stain that was likely Jhessye's but that liquid possibly diluted it, making it bigger than it originally was.

Umm, so Jhessye was in the closet bleeding then? Are they planning on explaining that?

Think they are going to pull a Hernandez close and say "OK so yeah Jhessye was in the closet bleeding but there isnt enough of a blood stain to show that she died in there."

By my count, yesterday was Day 11, with today being Day 12.

Any clue what that is supposed to mean? My count if from Day 1 of the trial, excludes Fridays and weekends.
If they mean to start from Day 1 as the jury selection, that doesn't match either.

I'm puzzled.

IIRC ex had stated she had stayed with Jerice and the Children and spoke to an incident when Jerice disciplined Jhessye. IIRC she dragged her into another room but sounds indicated it was an abusive punishment.Oh and that one of her bags left behind is the bag Jerice discarded poor Jhessye in has been implied.

The defense has to throw out as many possibilities as possible. They will say that there was no suitcase left at the house. Which makes her a liar. Which means that she also lied about the beating she claims she overheard. They'll say that the ex is a junkie and btw where was she on the day in question? ? Was Thomas angry about being dumped and put out of the house? Was she pissed that JH had moved on with a man?
I'm not saying this will work. Just guessing what they'll say.
