Actually, I think it does 'matter' that she had 6 kids with 5 different fathers. It tells me that the home life was pretty erratic and unstable. the older kids had a parade of different 'daddy's' through the house. Jerice made some poor choices, imo.

I don't know why the defense keeps saying there was ' no evidence.' I think the blood in the closet is pretty damning.
