I wish in the closing arguments that the prosecution could have brought up the prior abuse / prior conviction. Goes to show pattern. I really hate that this can't be brought up. It would be important to show what Jerice thinks - that she does not abuse her children when obviously she does.

I feel SO sorry for Jhessye's sisters. The guilt. The fear. The intimidation that they have felt. :cry:

I do wonder why Prosecutors didn't ask the protected witness when was the last time she saw her sister. Also showing that the child that ran from the neighbor could have been another girl in the neighborhood.

Sounds like this jury has decided.

I thougth Somia said she was and offered to help but Jerice refused?

Adrenaline rushes are helpful in times of extreme stress. I carried a listless 9 yr old w/a high fever to my car in the middle of the night and I could usually never lift him. Funny how urgency allows one the strength they need.
