They believed her. They listened to her. Even though the defense tried to paint you a liar darlin', everyone else listened. We all knew how heartbroken and guilt-ridden you felt. But, you did the right thing! She can't hurt you or anyone else again!

I am so very thankful for the dedication of those that brought this monster to trial and put her away!!! And, of course, I am forever grateful for this jury. They sacrificed their time, energy, and heart to make this decision!

Even though Jhessye's body was never found, the jurors say Hunter's oldest daughter's testimony about Jhessye being beaten and forced into a closet was the strongest piece of evidence.

"It was strong, it was emotional, sitting right there by her you just felt the pain," said the juror.

This is a quote from the article which shows us what we all knew:

They say a juror dismissed on Monday for medical reasons was not a holdout. Even though Jhessye's body was never found, the jurors say Hunter's oldest daughter's testimony about Jhessye being beaten and forced into a closet was the strongest piece of evidence.

Pat McMahon, at the end of talking about 🤬🤬🤬 Shirley, says "Shirley, tonight listen for a voice."
"Be quiet now Grandma and let me sleep."

Wow.

Wow, indeed! This video commentary is a must-watch! Thank you SO much AmandaReckonwith for sharing this! Shirley's words and actions have and continue to be criminal - IMO :tantrum:

Mr. McMahon said it so eloquently - so perfectly - in it's heartbreaking truth....

Shirley gets away with any wrongdoing on her part. Nobody will bother with her. IMO.

I'm afraid you are right. But I can't help wishing she'd be arrested for something....

Thank you AR for sharing that clip. Powerful words Mr. McMahon spoke ... I only wish someone would make sure Shirley hears what he had to say. Do any of you think in a quiet moment, that she would actually reflect on his words and be truthful with herself?

I was out of the country and unable to see the verdict live, but when I saw my google alert in the airport showing she was guilty, I cried right in the terminal! I couldn't be happier that the monster is going to be behind bars, and I hope it will be for life. Justice was truly served!

I say that a life sentence without parole is a given. The jury found four aggravators. The sentence is basically going to be a rubber stamp. In my opinion SJ shouldn't be allowed to see the children because she denies that the murder even happened, thus calling the victim witnesses liars. Also jerice is a product of her handiwork so...probably not a good idea for them to be around her.

Yes and given the Daughter who testified who blames herself this Monster Mom should have no access to further damage. I pray these children find their way and have a productive life.
