Mesa Police: missing teen took gun from father's safe
Jordan Bumgarner, 16, was last seen leaving his home, located on the 500 block of N. Center Street, at around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and has not been seen or heard from since. Bumgarner took the loaded Taurus 9mm handgun from his father's safe before he left the house.
Bumgarner has a history of violent tendencies, is bipolar, and has not been taking his medications. In addition, family members told Mesa Police that Bumgarner has made some suicidal statements within the past week.
