AZ - Joseph Beadle for feeding puppy to snake, Glendale, 2007

Also I have always been told that it is better for the snake if you feed frozen! This way stories above dont happen. All you have to do is put the frozen food in hot water for 15 minutes then the snake feels the heat and then they go for it. I have many peole (the ones who like to watch i am sure) that their snake wont eat frozen. I think it is funny because when their snake was in my car it ate frozen every week.

Where is Glitch Wizard? She has a snake, doesn't she? Does it eat puppies? If so, I'll never speak to her again!! :furious:

And I'm so glad this guy is at least serving some time. It's sickening.

Any boa in the world will eat a puppy if given the opportunity. It's interesting to think about. I like snakes a lot - love finding them in my yard, etc...I don't have one as a pet, but I have always found it interesting to watch them eat (maybe it's all of that Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom that I watched as a child).

And I like all of the animals that a boa would or could eat - from rats to bunnies to chicks to puppies. That whole cycle of life thing doesn't bother me.

A boa in its natural habit (the rain forest) will eat mice, birds, lizards, frogs, monkeys, capybaras, agoutis, caimans, and wild pigs...it probably doesn't come into contact with many of what we consider to be domesticated creatures. Still, when all is said and done, the rat and the puppy probably both feel the same about being eaten.
