Just learned about this case on the news. I live 15 minutes from this location, so this hits close to home and definitely something I want to look into more. I haven't read all the links yet, but wanted to say hello to my fellow WSers.

VANISHED: 59-year-old Julie Concialdi has now been missing for a week, last seen on 9/4. Boyd Bottomlee shared photos of the intense explosion of Concialdi’s pickup truck from that night. Her family reported her missing two days later.

Also, Phoenix PD has released surveillance video that does not show the fire but you can hear the explosion. ⬇️

[...]

Phoenix police told ABC15 Concialdi's husband has been cooperative. ABC15 has been unable to reach him for comment.

Phoenix police have not publicly named anyone as a suspect or person of interest in the case.

"That's part of these very complex cases," Sgt. Fortune said. "We have not located Julie. We don't know enough to say that we have a person of interest. We want to make sure Julie is safe, we are hoping to find her."

What causes that loud of an explosion? I would think if a device of some sort LE could see that in the wreckage?

Search continues as mystery surrounding disappearance of Phoenix woman deepens (video)

Police say on Sept. 4, they got a call at 11 p.m. about a car fire in a parking lot near 20th Avenue and Monona Drive. When officers ran the plates, they discovered the truck belonged to Concialdi.

When police called Concialdi to inform her about the truck, she didn't answer. Two days later, her family reported her missing. FOX 10 has since obtained photo and video of the car, as well as an explosion involving the car.

[...]

Meanwhile, family members are growing anxious.

“That’s concerning to them because as a person of routine, she goes to appointments. She doesn’t miss appointments. They’ve texted. They’ve called her, and there is no response whatsoever," said Phoenix Police Sergeant Mercedes Fortune.

Investigators have recovered Concialdi’s phone and wallet at her home, but now suspect foul play.

Do we know whether Julie's husband was out of town, or whether they even live together?
Just wondering why he and family reported her missing 2 days after she was last seen on the Friday and after the truck was burned.

I think we need to ask Justin Lum to clarify. I didn’t read your quoted material with this article because I listened to the report. But interestingly, they differ somewhat. Justin was reporting live from the police station. Based on his thorough and precise reporting on the vallow -daybell case, I tend to believe his words.

The news article says:
When police called Concialdi to inform her about the truck, she didn't answer.

But Justin says at about 1 minute in .. “police went to her home, just about 8 miles away. They made no contact with anyone there. Then two days later police say she is reported missing by her adult kids.”

......................

So, that says a lot if you ask me. But also, it is concerning to me. Did police ever reach out again during those two days? A burning car and for two days, no contact with owner until her kids report her missing?
