Detectives with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office are investigating after a hunter found a dead body inside a toolbox near the juncture of E Florence-Kelvin Hwy and State Route 177.

A toolbox, partially buried in the ground, held the decomposing body of an adult male.

It sounds like they might already have an idea of who he is.

The victim's name will be released once the body is identified and the next of kin notified.

This article describes the toolbox as a Delta, and in the second photo it appears to be the type designed for a pickup truck bed.

Luckily, the hunter found this before the killer might come back later for refilling the unmarked grave with sand & rocks. Hope they'll caught the killer by ID the serial numbers of the toolbox.

The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The death is a homicide and detectives are in the process of attempting to notifying next of kin and determining who is responsible for the murder of this victim.
