Police Searching for Missing Montana Woman

This is concerning. Why would her travel companion wait 11 days to report her missing? How long were they supposed to stay at a friend's house? Were they just visiting or were they planning to move to Mohave Valley? Do they know anyone else in Mohave Valley? Did Kimberly say where she was going when she left and for how long? This is odd.

2 charged with endangering children in Missoula motel room

If this is the same person then clearly there are issues in her past with drugs and good decision making. It would be interesting to know if the reporting party is the same man as in this article and if she was living clean and for how long.

I was raised in this area, so very familiar with Dike Road. It's a mix of beautiful river front homes and mobil homes used as vacation homes/rentals.
The Mohave Indian reservation intersects east of that area.

Dike Road is right along the Colorado River, so that's a little concerning.

Kimberly Hewankorn was last seen in the early evening hours of May 11 walking away from a Ronan residence. She might be in the Polson area.

Thanks for filling in the history @Knox.
Hmmm does KRH have a phone? Where did she say she was going or did she leave upset? Had she gotten to know any neighbors since arriving? Hitchhiked, walked or Uber'd into town for food-drink-other supplies?
@Knox is Dike Road rural? Stores w/in walking distance?
Her case is making rounds on social media but no personal comments yet that I can find. Anyone else?

Google Maps

Hope this link holds. There are a few dollar stores, a gas station and Valdez's within a two miles. From there she could cross the bridge and walk into Needles, which would be closer than walking to a commercial area in lower MV. Lot of drug use in this tri-state area, and not many jobs. Although recently a fairly large grow operation opened in Needles, which I recall was paying above average wages for the area.

I wonder what brought Kimberly and her male friend to the area? Like you P4YT, I have lots of questions.

Could she have gone to try and get work in the large grow operation?

The problem is, they only need lots of help during harvest, I believe.

She may have traveled to the Reservation. I don't know if the Mohave Reservation has it's own LE or not. @Knox do you know the answer? If she made it there and is staying with people there the Sheriff would not be able to go and check or ask the community for help in locating her, without tribal approval. Maybe, their own pd would be able to assist with that task, if they have one.

I'm not Knox, but yes, there is a tribal police department. It is located about 5 miles north of the Dike Road location. Google Maps
