Circumstances of Recovery: Skeletal remains found in remote desert location. Surgical pin in right thigh. Paper scrap with the following writing: "251 252 N on State to Soto Merengo 70 71 W on Merengo to Macy and Alemedo." These mis-spelled street names (North State Street, Marengo Street, and Alameda Street) seemingly pertain to locations in central Los Angeles. The numbers appear to be bus routes.

I thought medical hardware had a serial number that could be tracked. Unless that was not being done when this guy had his rod put in.

I couldn't find any updates about his identification. There were no public potential MPs removed close to the date his profile was archived. The closest ones were David Jackson (MP43354) on October 3, 2023 and Mark Weisman (MP10801) on February 26, 2024.

It appears his profile on the State of California Department of Justice Missing Person website was removed at some point (you can see it existed at one point by googling his name but the link is dead). He has a thread here also: CA - CA - Adrian Bowlin, 21, Huntington Park, 10 Apr 1985
