Found Deceased AZ - Lianna Lefler, 18, Prescott Valley, 28 April 2017

The newest update on the search page is that the police gave them information: Lianna may now be wearing a black t-shirt and a fisherman's cap.

Potential sighting or surveillance video?

From her FB it looks like she is a gamer.

It would also appear that her and her family are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Edit: I also now realise this has been said many times already on the thread, sorry!

They didn't say on the page. I'm not sure if that means they don't know or can't comment. I'm sure everyone is frustrated not knowing what to do after almost 2 weeks of searching. If the police have some clues wouldn't they share that with family? Especially knowing the friends and family have been searching non stop, by foot, horseback, drone....

I can't believe it's already been two weeks.

I really appreciate how the FB page is being handled. They are being informative while maintaining Lianna's privacy and not revealing things publicly that are irrelevant for people to pick over. They are appreciative of LE efforts. They have asked for tips to be messaged privately and not posted on the page to get lost or be a distraction. Those who are posting comments are respectful. This is how a missing person's FB page should be handled so that it doesn't get gossipy and argumentative. Well done! I so hope this sweet-looking girl is found and is safe.

How sad! So beautiful and so young...I wonder if it will be homicide or suicide.

I don't know. It's baffling. She was found about 12 miles up from Walmart, kind of a long walk? Also, it was on a construction or service road. The landscape looks pretty clear of obstacles. It's crazy she wasn't spotted sooner IF she committed suicide.

However it happened, it is heartbreaking =(

Oh dear! This is so sad. I can't imagine that she would walk that far. It's very fortunate that she happened to be found by workers. The same was true of ZuZu Verk in Alpine TX. Prayers for her family and friends. :heartbeat:

I'm in shock! This is not the outcome I was expecting at all 😭 Her poor family :-(

Am I lookin at the right area? I see it being about 3 miles from Walmart. Glassford Hill, the trail just opened last spring.

I took the address from Walmart and used Google maps from there (3450 N Glassford Hill) to the top of the hill. It showed that it is a 12 mile drive?

I saw a picture of the hill where she was found. It was more like a hill that is pretty bald, and vacant. How odd that she wasn't seen from the air =(

Hmm, I show 12 minutes, 2.4 miles. I think she was probably very familiar with that trail as the head of the trail was just a few blocks from their house.
I would think that a service road would be blocked off by a gate or chain, wouldn't it?

Have not looked at a map but maybe 3 miles as the crow flies and 12 miles if you have to use main roads?

What happened? Suicide? Poor girl. Sad to think she may have felt this alone.
