Maybe that's not how the Navajo Nations deal with the murder of children? Have they even mentioned an arrest? IMOI'm surprised they still haven't released her manner of death. They found her the next day. Seems like they've had plenty of time to determine if it was an accident or homicide.

IMO something isn't lining up here. Why the long wait to reveal what happened? The FBI now says 8-year-old Maleeka “Mollie” Boone was likely struck by a vehicle on the evening of Jan. 15. Investigators believe the driver may have hit the girl without realizing it and may have been in a larger vehicle, possibly a pickup truck.
Mollie was last seen playing around 6 p.m. Jan. 15 near Cedar Loop in the Coalmine Navajo Housing Authority area, about 17 miles southeast of Tuba City. Investigators believe she was walking home when a passing driver hit her.

I know right if she was hit by a vehicle how'd she end up in the field when an earlier post saidIMO something isn't lining up here. Why the long wait to reveal what happened?
Just doesn't make any sense unless 1 she was moved to the field after being hit or 2 the vehicle hit her with such force she flew into the fieldThe FBI gave information about where she was found:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Navajo Nation Police Department are seeking information regarding the death of 8-year-old Maleeka "Mollie" Boone. On January 15, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Boone was reported missing from her neighborhood in Coalmine, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation. Boone left one family member’s home at approximately 4:15 p.m. to return to the home in which she lived. Both residences are in the same neighborhood and in close proximity to each other. Boone’s body was located in a field within the Coalmine neighborhood at approximately 8:30 a.m. on January 16, 2026.
