I wish there were more details for Merry! I find it odd her vehicle was found 100 miles from where she called her sister to tell her she was out of gas. Did someone give her gas on the side of the road? Did she mean she was running out of gas but not out yet? Was her sister supposed to pick her up? Did they search both areas well?

Either way, bumping this post.

She left home to go for a drive about 09.00hrs and phoned her sister in the evening to tell her she was out of gas??
Had she been driving all day?!
I wonder what else she told her sister?
Where was she heading?
Hmmmm.....

Very good points. This whole thing is lacking in information and story. I didn't find any prominent news articles which are strange. I wonder why they labeled her an endangered runaway as well instead of just missing? Or is that protocol when adults go missing?
