Well wonder why she said she would release and discuss today? Her latest post doesn't mention it. Hmph

I think it may be because she wont know until the family tells her what is going on, also they probably don't want anyone knowing where/what ahead of time so if anyone might want to disturb evidence...

eta: I would bet they are looking hard at friends, family and work relationships so Im sure they are checking out all the volunteers showing up at the Raceway Bar and Grill HQ...

I think someone upthread mentioned that they carpooled?? Its possible that someone in the carpool is involved If they were picking someone up that morning. It seems an alleged suspects car or residence may be in the location of where the car was found? The car location is niggling at me...

ETA...could it be that they failed to pick someone up that morning? hmmm...

Maricopa isn't a small town. There should be plenty of camera footage from intersections, surveillance tapes and dash cams to help put a time table together. Do we have a hard address for their residence? One could Google Earth the place and map out their routes to work.

Dash cams are something more and more people should own. Think of the thousands of opportunities commuters could have in possibly catching evidence on them!

Their real life friend said its a long drive to work so they carpool together, not with strangers just the 2 of them.

That is understandable, but where was the husband going? Do we know if he was really employed or out of work? I'm glad I saw your post because I was thinking if they carpooled with other people, then it would really be bizarre if they weren't reported missing until that evening. JMO

Good questions being asked now. I'll add a few:

What were Mike's plans on Monday? Where was he going? Did anyone make note of his lack of appearance during the day? I'm going to speculate that he was going somewhere that morning. Otherwise, no reason to "car pool". Unless, for some reason, Tina was not permitted to drive. We have no reason to think that though.

Did Tina's employer call around looking for her? Was it usual or unusual for her not to be at work?

Looking at aerials of the Careccia home, I am seeing multiple vehicles. Google street view shown the same. Also worth noting is that it is a fairly impressive house and property compared to the neighboring homes. Almost a mansion in comparison.

How common is it for a woman to wear flip flops to work?

In this post from the administrator, the administrator mentions that they don't know what Tina was
wearing, but most likely she was wearing black and gold Guess flip flops.
Mike was wearing black and white classic skate high Vans.
This is the post where they were responding under posts and mentioned that it wasn't mud but a film of dust on the car.
The post heading, though is from yesterday 6:50am, where they are asking for help. and they posted this 17 hours ago, under the replies.

I think flip flops are common for back office jobs...not rummage bin thongs but a nice pair of Guess flippers probably look dressy enough in 110 degree heat...lol

Where did Tina work and what was her job title?

Upthread it said she is an office person for a construction company in Chandler...

I was thinking about how some have opinions of financial distress due to the foreclosure of his previous home with his ex-wife. While it may be somewhat distressing, I don't think it's as significant as one might think. Obviously they've been divorced for a while since he re-married last year. It could just be that the home was still in both of their names and she fell behind and now it's in foreclosure. It's just the legal process. Possibly they did a "quickie" (for lack of a better word) divorce and financial settlements weren't as legal and documented as they could have been. Certainly he could have filed for a Quit Claim pre or post divorce, but again maybe they just wanted to get the divorce over and done with and move on. If that's the case, what is he really to do at this point? Help her get current with her payments or pay off the house he hasn't lived in for years? I think that's highly unlikely. More than likely, he'd just shrug it off and settle for having bad credit for a while and a foreclosure on his report. Which, if he "needed" to apply for some important credit he could provide documents that he was divorced from her, hasn't lived in the home in XX years, he is/has been current on his own mortgage and the creditor *may* consider it. I'm just not convinced that there was any financial distress from it.

Regarding sharing "one vehicle". I don't think we know for sure if they don't have more than one. Possibly they have a classic car, or a motorcycle, or they lease another car and don't want to put a lot of miles on it. It would make sense to both take the older car when they know they're both going to be a distance from home for the day. Also, they each have an older child. Maybe they share a car with the kids and one of the kids needed to use the second car that day. I'm just not convinced there is only one car for their family.

Regarding their home address, there is an aviation link upthread that provided an address. I Google-mapped it and it's about two blocks from where car was found. Less than 4,000 feet. But I'm not 100% sure that's a correct address.

All just my thoughts and opinions.

There is a Farmers convenience store right next door to the Raceway Bar and Grill. Any locals know if it is open at 5 in the morning ? Cameras ?

The ex doesn't live in the Maricopa home with the foreclosure filings. Mike and Tina do.

Also, there is no car sharing with kids. They both drive very nice vehicles per online info.

Upthread it said she is an office person for a construction company in Chandler...

I thought I read construction.
I guess being an office person, she wouldn't be walking around any construction site?
When I think construction, I think safety shoes, but if she didn't have to worry about OSHA rules, etc, then I guess flip flops in the office is ok by them?
IMOO.

Interesting that her "twin" look alike wore flip flops, too.
Must be a common thing there, being so hot and all.
I live in Colorado, and it is not common to see a woman in flip flops at an office, atleast where I live...
sandals yes, flip flops, no...
IMOO.

Here is a zoomable map I made up of the surrounding area along with the most common driving route up to Chandler where Tina worked.

You can zoom in and out with the center wheel on your mouse, left click and drag to move the map around.

If you click on the lower left corner where it says "Base Map", you can change it to satellite view.

Just a couple things to add to the mix:
- Maricopa was one on the hardest hit areas for housing in the NATION not just the state, during the last 5-7 years. It had been a rapidly growing area with good prices because it was on the outskirts of town. Then when the recession hit, housing prices plunged and this area in particular, most of the houses were now "underwater" so seeing they had a forecloser is really not shocking or a big deal. Everybody had one.

- Flip flops here are not a big deal. People where them everywhere. Nice restaurant, work, it makes no difference. Its tooooo freaking hot here to get dressed up especially in the summer. And if she worked at a small office, I do not see this as odd or a "red flag" it is the norm here.

Aerial view of residence.

I'd say it's pretty safe to say they had more than one car available to them, unless he lost all of them in the divorce.

If I had to make the drive down the interstate and into Chandler everyday, I'd drive a Honda Accord too, much better gas mileage in a rice burner.

I had noticed that she likes outdoor survivalist and living off the grid. Is it possible that they just walked away.
