More will come out as the days will go on. It's just a matter of my impatience not bothering me and wonder where they are and what actually happened.

IMOO, LE and the family know more than we know. There would be more news coverage here, and everywhere. At this point, I am so torn between theories I have no idea where I stand.

Bank employees are regularly trained to observe heights of individuals and are assisted by devices that are strategically placed so an accurate height description can be made.

The teller line does not appear to be elevated and the banks in my area do not have elevated platforms behind the teller windows

My local bank branch has a measuring tape on the wall next to the door that measures height for exactly such a scenario. I bet many banks do.

Interesting! I haven't noticed. I will have to be more observant! Thanks!

First time poster. I live about 45-60 minutes away from this area in Arizona depending on traffic. Have been questioning this case since it broke last week. I find it very strange and have taken everyone's opinions and theories into mind. This was just posted on our local news website tonight. I'm sorry if it had been posted

Thank you! Welcome to Websleuths. :wagon:

But both Dugan and Williams hinted that additional evidence could be released later this week.

Hill said the FBI could get involved in the case if there was evidence the couple crossed state lines or crossed the border into Mexico.

That is interesting for sure.
If they left on their own free will, why would the FBI even care if they crossed state lines or crossed into Mexico?
Unless they committed a crime, perhaps?
If someone made them leave, that's a different story.
IMOO.

Thanks, been following this page closely. I may not post regularly but I will try and post links as they come. I'm more of a nice lurker than poster :happydance:

My thoughts exactly. "Crossed" and "were taken across" have two very different meanings...

So, another news piece without any info from LE working the case. Now we get some off-cuff speculation from former PHX city cops. Great. You people understand that LE working on this have said zip, right?

The link mentions that the sheriff's investigators were tight lipped but wanted to draw attention away from some theories.
Also:
"Hill said sheriff's investigators were likely reluctant to release more information because some details could cause speculation that could hurt the investigation progress."
http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...ssing-maricopa-couple-week-two-abrk/29483985/

What speculation could hurt the progress?
To know the truth about something would cause speculation that could hurt the progress?
Well I guess there's reason to this old adage: The Truth Hurts.

Why do I keep thinking of Jack Nicholson, in this particular case.

If you hear of any organized searches For Tina and Michael please PM me or email me at [email protected]

I want to make sure we help publicize any organized (with the family and law enforcement's blessing) searches.

Thanks,

:thewave: HI! and Wecome! Thank you for the link - hope you stick around. I think you are like most of us here - dazed and confused by either the inconsistent information put out there or no information at all.
