Police/Fire arrived and addressed it as a hazmat situation because of the presence of gas inside the home. When police were cleared to enter, new footage showed multiple propane tanks outside the property. The gas line supplier confirmed there were no leaks at the address, so presumably the gas came from the propane tanks. This is eerily reminiscent of the Robert Fisher case in Scottsdale from years back.

She has three children, one son and two daughters. Her sister committed suicide almost exactly one month ago: Obituaries in Reno, NV | The Reno Journal-Gazette and Mason Valley News

I can’t find any information about her husband.

I was watching a helicopter feed earlier today and saw the propane tanks. I thought of Robert Fisher as well.

Phoenix police said it is being treated as a homicide. Soliz confirmed that the five dead inside had “obvious signs of trauma.” Phoenix police said that there is no suspect on the loose. Arizona’s Family did speak with the family’s cleaning ladies who said they’ve known the family for 16 years and they have been cleaning the home for the past six. They said the couple who lived at the home had 6-month-old twin girls and a 3-year-old boy.

Husband self inflicted gun shot wound.

The homes in this neighborhood are built well with cinder blocks and bricks, not surprised no one heard a series of gun shots.

Even if they did, periodic gunshots and fireworks are common in this area and with the traffic noise nearby it is very tough to tell where the sounds come from.

The five were identified Thursday by police as 44-year-old Jasen Michael Hudgens, 40-year-old Marla Jordan Hudgens and the couple’s three kids — 3-year-old Christopher and two 6-month-old twin girls, Gwen and Faye. My heart hurts for the loss Marla's family has endured recently - two daughters and three grandchildren in less than three months. How much is one family supposed to endure?

Yes, how controlling, abusive, evil you would have to be to harm your partner/kids. I imagine things must have been dreadful with him if she was thinking about ending their marriage not long after having babies.

He was particularly evil to leave the gas on to possibly harm yet more people, IMO.

That’s a nice guy. His family (inc 2 infants and a toddler) are murdered by “significant stab wounds,” yet he exits by a shot to the head. Can’t imagine the pain they endured.

Devastating all this, murdering his wife and their little innocent children terrifyingly suffering in the way they did, looking into the eyes of the father that was supposed to love and protect them was the last vision they all saw.

It certainly seems the case if he can't have them all with him he didn't want anyone else to be in their lives in the future.
