I wonder if #12296 could be Sandra Calderon Lopez?

• She was 4'10-5'1 which fits estimated height of 4'11.
  
• She was 21 when she vanished which fits age range of 19-25
• She disappeared after July 10, 2012 and this JD was estimated to have died 2012-2013.
  
• She had strawberry blonde hair which is the lightest shade of red hair and this JD was said to have "probable red highlights". Not sure what that means though. Her hair was light brown in the middle of her back.
  
• The circumstances are vague- she was last seen crossing the border into Arizona, however she was left behind after a day of walking. Her NamUs states she was in Topawa, Arizona in Pima County.

Not sure about #12295 though. Maybe Begonia Martinez?

• 5'0-5'2 which fits estimated height of 5'0.
  
• 20 years old when she vanished which fits age range of 18-24.
  
• Last known location was Pima County. She crossed the border from Cananea, Sonora with intentions of getting to New York.
  
• There's no photo to compare Martinez to JD.

I think I'll submit Lopez for 12996. Tapawa to Marana by walking takes about a day according to Google. I can imagine Lopez falling behind only to continue her journey again, however without the group she was originally with. Maybe she succumbed to the hot weather in the mountainous terrain where the skeletal remains were found. However, the fact that another body was found just a mile away makes the area look suspicious.

Im wondering if she could be Romelia Ingrid Lopez Cabrera who went missing just 43 minutes away from where Jane doe in Altar Arizona in 2012 which fits the timeline. She also matches jane does physical description and age. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

I also wondered about Kaylene Marie Gallegos who went missing on a trip from Show Low to Phoenix also matches the basic description and timeline.

The last I thought possible was Karla Elizabeth Serna Davila who closely matched the description and went missing in 2011 an hour and 20 mins away from where the body of Jane doe was found
