I posted that I found it odd I could not find Nick's name on the SOS website. Nor was he licensed for HVAC, though I found two others who were and they tied back to the business name. So what you're saying makes sense, although that's not what his obit said?

Indeed. I find it troubling that the only social media pic to be found of DS online is, err ..... a mugshot. Not judging ...... well, maybe a little
Did NC know DS beforehand, or did they just meet at the signing, as in an advertised position available .... would be curious to know.

I'd be curious to know how they met and their business history too. Maybe he had money to throw around from his wife's estate and offered to invest in Nick's business? But how did they connect?

DS owned the company before NC bought into it.
DS owned it with someone else previously, then that person signed off and Nick signed on to the business.
I posted the timeline of the business owners yesterday.

Yes, but we're just very curious to know if NC and DS were friends/associates, let's put it that way, before he joined him in the business when the, err , off limits can't be discussed **lookalike** left the biz. As in, did DS and NC move in the same circles, or did he just see an ad in the paper looking for someone to come into a business. Haven't heard anything about that, but would be interesting to find out. MOO

NC had obviously met him more than a couple of times, so just curious about their friendship. Quite possibly they met as strangers to do business together. I’m sorry...I didn’t state that clearly. I knew that was what you were curious about so what I meant was that I am “assuming” that because AC didn’t really seem to know DS well, that it was likely NC didn’t either. That’s all just speculation on my part.

So frustrating there are no new updates coming out for the family or any indication that LE is any closer to finding the suspect. I really hope he hasn't left the state by now which I feel is very possible. I don't understand why LE won't release something more just a vehicle description or the description of the other suspect.

Maybe because they know what happened already. Just have a lot to prove. Multiple people involved, possible past crimes committed by perp. Assailants on the run.

As others have mentioned here, I think the POI is long gone from AZ. I’m always skeptical when a murder takes place and possible witnesses are left alive to call LE and give info.
