AZ - Nick Cordova, 40, murder caught on surveillance video, Gilbert, May 27,2020

The vast majority of service stations have dozens of cameras at dozens of angles. We see a pic of POI#2 from a few angles, so I'd put my money on LOTS of other pics that they haven't released. The car, POI#1, I bet they have all that. I'd find it hard to believe if they didn't. Who knows why they aren't releasing it, it could be a number of reasons.
I was wondering why they haven't released a picture of the vehicle.

Also did I hear the wife say that the office has surveillance cameras? I hope they were on. Moo.

This seems like a professional hit. The business partner must be under close scrutiny by LE. Seems obvious. Probably can’t prove it though. So, find the hitman and get him to squeak on the partner.

Yes they do have working security cameras at the front entrance to the office and did get some video from them but will not release any of the video evidence to the public at this time. So Hopefully they got enough to help with an arrest and prosecution.

He has a FB page that his wife is running but I can't get it to link. He was well liked it seems. What a tragic, terrible thing for his wife and kids to go through. Moo

What sort of age range would you put on the suspect? I’ve got no idea, not good at picking ages, but would be of help in finding him I think.
Mid 30’s would be my guess. That is simply MOO

Nicholas Cordova 1979 - 2020 - Obituary
Nick Cordova obituary it says a lot about what kind of person he was and it is so sad that his life was cut way too short for reasons unknown. His wife and children miss him beyond words and I pray that they find the person or persons responsible and get justice for his family soon.

So has the business partner who was in the building when the murder went down said anything?:eek: Oh boy.

As far as I know he has not made any public statements and I find that strange too because he was in the building when Nick was killed. I would think that he would be wanting to find the person or persons responsible just as much as everyone else unless there is a reason LE told him to not share information publicly so I don't really know what's up with him. MOO

What else could it be but a murder for hire? Nothing was taken, happened while it was still daylight, low-risk lifestyle victim (insofar as we know), no known enemies.

This case will 100% be solved, just a matter of time until someone identifies the guy in the gas station video.

If I were him, I wouldn't be making any public statements or appearing on camera. As a potential witness to a murder that would be insane (I say potential as I'm not sure what he saw). Who's to say they won't try to locate him to eliminate a witness? Or maybe he was the intended victim not Nick and the hit men screwed up?

That very well could be the reason why I don't know why I didn't think of that good point. From what I can gather from Nicks' wife interview she said that he was knocked out and woke up after this person or persons was gone but I don't know how much I believe that why would they kill one person but only knock the other out? Why not take them both out just seems strange to me but who knows there is a lot of strange things happening this year.

It seems unlikely that they would leave a witness, especially one that had been close enough to the killer to be knocked unconscious. Unless they didn't know he was there, say in the bathroom and they heard the flush and bashed him as he was coming out the door. But if you have a gun why not just shoot him? Moo.

I missed that detail, thank you! If you have time, could you link the interview you listened to?

For such a quick kill, it appeared to me pro until you learn they left a witness. Something is not right with this story.

I wonder if biz partner and NC are similar in appearance. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Too bad we can't sleuth the silent partner.
Technically we can we just can't post about it here because that is against the rules. I keep looking for updates on the case every day but so far I've got nothing new to share. I know LE keeps everything guarded for a reason but I want to know what's going on now I hate the waiting and wondering.

Odd, I could not find a business record for Gilbert Air LLC /Gilbert Air Cooling and Heating Business | Arizona Secretary of State
But I was able to find State Licences that came back registered to the business as members.

In his obit, it says Nick purchased Gilbert Air?
