AZ - Nick Cordova, 40, murder caught on surveillance video, Gilbert, May 27,2020

Odd, I could not find a business record for Gilbert Air LLC /Gilbert Air Cooling and Heating Business | Arizona Secretary of State
But I was able to find State Licences that came back registered to the business as members.

In his obit, it says Nick purchased Gilbert Air?
From my understanding he did purchase Gilbert Air but he has the "silent" partner who I'm assuming co-owned the place with him. I was able to find them on the BBB website but I don't know what that means really.

I missed that detail, thank you! If you have time, could you link the interview you listened to?

Putting this here in case others want to listen. Tyson Draper is an approved media source in the Suzanne Morphew case, so I assume he is here also.
There is another TD video which cannot not be linked here, nor discussed as it names the business partner. Comments at the video link should be reviewed, but again cannot be discussed or linked in this forum.

Curious about ownership for obvious reasons which could be related to the murder. But also because there could be an insurance pay out for his wife and kids.

BBB is a tool consumers can use when looking for a reputable business.

Right? Makes me regret post #47 ...

Hope the detectives in this case are making some real progress!

Lol I don’t necessarily think you were completely off base. I mean, what better alibi than to be RIGHT THERE as a “victim” also? I don’t believe in coincidences too much. Know what I mean? Just my $.02! ;)

Here is a little timeline and what we know to be facts in this case I thought maybe this could help us get some things going here.
*5:00 p.m.--Nick FaceTimes his children and while on that call Alysha hears them say something is wrong with dad she takes the phone and hears him being attacked
*5:30 p.m. --Alysha calls 911 while remaining on the Face Time call nothing can clearly be made out in the background just wrestling around and moaning or mumbling.
*5:33 p.m.-- A vehicle with two suspects pulls into the ARCO station just 2 minutes down the road from Gilbert Air only one suspect is seen on camera entering the station and handing the clerk money (assuming for gas as no items were seen)
*5:37 p.m--Police arrive on the scene at Gilbert Air and find Nick inside deceased his silent partner is also inside but not seriously injured.
My take on this is that for one it was planned there is no way the person or persons who did this just went inside this place of business on a whim and carried out this murder and walked out. For two I believe when it's all played out more than these two suspects will be involved I feel like this is something bigger than a random killing. If it were just a random killing why leave anyone alive? They killed one person why would they hesitate to kill two it just doesn't add up. Nothing was taken no money, nothing of value it wasn't a robbery so why then? It just leaves more questions than answers but I have a few ideas just waiting for that other shoe to drop so to speak so I can let them all out of the bag.

He was shot but I don’t know that it’s been stated where on his person.
That in my mind goes a long way to proving that Nick was the only intended victim. Had they beaten both him and the silent partner, perhaps Nick's death was accidental. But to reportedly knock one victim unconscious while shooting the other means you had a target.

Agreed. By the way, this article is the only one I saw that referenced “a shooting”. There may be others but just wanted to back up what I said with a link. Gilbert police searching for May 27 homicide suspect

My thoughts exactly and we have no proof that anyone other than Nick was actually attacked just what the silent partner told Alysha about him being hit in the head. He has not spoken to anyone about what happened that day.

Wife hears husband being attacked at 5:00 PM and waits 30 minutes to call 911? Is that accurate?

The FaceTime call with his children began at 5 p.m. I don’t think we know exactly when during that call that the children alerted their mother that something was wrong with daddy.

That is my understanding as well.

The Face-time started at 5.25 pm. The daughter says to her mum something's not right at 5.28 pm. Alysha phones 911 at 5.30 pm.
Suspect walks into shop at 5.33 pm.
Think it's okay to put this up as it's Alysha herself telling the story. The phone calls are mentioned at around 8.51. Very informative video.

Thank you! That makes more sense.

I vaguely knew of this case but took a closer look yesterday. Heart wrenching listening to the 911 call. So very sorry for AC and her children and his extended family and friends.

My initial thoughts:

NC was most definitely targeted, but why? Job gone bad? Perp could have sued. Also, then why not include “silent” partner in attack. Hit on the head?? Yeah, right! First and foremost, follow the money. Who benefits here? Whose doing the books? Someone cooking the books?

No doubt LE are following the money as much as trying to locate the suspects. This may take a while, but I would bet LE have a POI and motive. POI may not only be the two that did the deed. JMHO
