Why would her family wait 3 weeks to report a 14 year old missing, especially during the holiday season? Was there some sort of miscommunication as to her whereabouts?

<modsnip - quoted post was not an approved source> I know the area she was found, it is very dark out there at night so probably no witness if she was placed overnight, found around 8 am. When they were trying to identify stated it was a homicide. Guess we just wait and when they arrest someone maybe it will make the news. Hopefully the community is safe.

Looking at her socials made me really sad. I think when kids post stuff like that it's definitely not out of happiness. I hope they find out who did this to her.

I am not seeing much by way of socials, but still nothing on local news or media, dear childs funeral is this week. Leads me to suspect that they do not feel the community is at risk. They have not retracted from saying it is a homicide.
