  • Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Blond hair, blue eyes. Sammons has previously broken his right arm and the tip of his left index finger has been amputated. He has a scar below one of his knees where moles were burned off. Sammons wears a size 10 or 11 shoe.
Details of Disappearance
Sammons was last seen in Mesa, Arizona on January 11, 1983. His parents realized he was missing when his fiancee called them on January 14 to ask where he was.

When Sammons's parents went to his apartment, they found it in a neat and orderly condition with his belongings, including his vehicle, clothing, checkbook and cash, left behind. There were no indications of foul play. Few details are available in Sammons's case.

View attachment 603742 UP12371 was a 20-30 year old white male found in Pinal County, AZ. I couldn't find much more info.

That's somewhat common when only limited remains are recovered (in this case a cranium).
And also for investigative reasons. There are a number of resolved cases that have not yet been announced in order to continue death investigation. I do think that if partial remains have been recovered consideration should be given to noting that in the Namus record, and I have seen some that indicate such.
