  • HB Home - current owner is husband only. On 8/22 a Gift Deed was filed, removing Zaynab from ownership.
  • P Home - current owner is husband only. On 6/21 a Quitclaim Deed was filed, removing Zaynab from ownership.

Where is he now? Has he left the country? Who has the children?

I wonder if there’s another woman?

Any updates?

I really hope he won't get away with it and take the kids to Pakistan.

She is dead. He is alive. I would say that he has indeed, been able to "get away with it". I wonder if she had life insurance?!

I do hope this case is actually being worked on behind the scenes.
If abusers get away with stuff, they'll just end up abusing and possibly killing other women...

This is chilling.

No. Because it is impossible to prove beyond "reasonable" doubt that it did not happen the way the husband stated. He says it was an "accident". He is the only witness. Injuries on the victim, correspond with falling off a cliff, hitting hard rocks.

MOO IMO

There are many cases without witnesses that still get prosecuted. I even recall very similar cases where a husband pushed the wife off a cliff and ended up getting convicted.

There was a case in Oregon many years ago where a woman pushed her boyfriend off a seaside cliff, no witnesses. She was convicted.

There was another case on Dateline where the husband told a friend he wanted his wife dead. Years later she and her husband were hiking, she fell off a cliff, no witnesses. But the friend's testimony helped get him convicted.

And I seem to recall a recent one in the news about a new bride who did the same to her husband. Although I don't know the details - perhaps there were witnesses.

Prosecutors can build cases with circumstantial evidence.

ETA A couple of these are referenced in post 79.

IMO MOO

I looked for an update and found nothing. Have investigators closed the case?

Still wondering if LE has closed the investigation? Is anyone able to find a definitive answer?

no but J's brother is a lawyer who was more than suspicious, so I think he would be monitoring
Exclusive | Woman’s brother claims rocket-scientist husband behind fatal fall off mountain cliff: ‘Just a cruel man’

I read lots of Yelp reviews of this hike- fit people do not seem to be concerned by it, but people disagree a lot about children and dogs.

These people who are speed demons, show some pictures of the foot bed
How to Hike the Bear Mountain Trail in Sedona, Arizona

flat parts, open rock and big step sized rocks, so seems as if the toddler would not be safe here
and would need to be carried and watched like a hawk.
