Anna Marie Anderson #MP18144, missing from Cypress CA, December 5, 1983. 19yo, 5'5". Per initial report, Anna Anderson was last seen walking on a Lincoln// Moody in the city of Stanton. Subsequent investigation revealed Anna was seen in a billiards bar in the city of Cypress around 1986. Anna was reported to be with a white male with blonde hair, no further details. It is believed that Anna may have traveled to Henderson, NV in 1992.

Bagdad Jane Doe was found in Yavapai County AZ near one of the only "company towns" left in the country. (An international mining company owns it.) I wondered when I saw this, is that someone who knew that area quite well, and SK Terry Rasmussen would probably know the area where she was found pretty well. He went to high school in Phoenix, was living back there again in late 60s. Popped up in Payson AZ mid-70s. Supposedly had some ties to the Black Mesa mines in northern AZ. In May '85, Rasmussen was arrested for a DUI in Cypress CA. Rasmussen hair color... I've seen images where the hair clearly looks blonde, others light to medium brown. And in Anna's image, too, the situation is the same. It's definitely reddish, but has a dirty blonde to light-to-med brown look to it.

Stanton CA is eight minutes or so drive from Los Alamitos where Rasmussen was working under name Curtis Kimball from March 1984 till May 1985.

Anna's a little younger than the projected age range. If she's 19 missing age in '83, she's 22 in '86. Denise Beaudoin was 23 when she was with Rasmussen (he was 37 at the time) in 1981. Because of the coincidences on locations & times, going ahead & posting. I don't see Anna on the exclusion list.

I know the age and height don't match up precisely, but since the remains were skeletal, perhaps there's some uncertainty... I was thinking about Michelle Houchman, missing in 1982, probably murdered with the rest of her family by Harvey Rader. Rader was arrested in Arizona at one point, and was familiar with its geography.

Michelle was younger than the Jane Doe, but was noted as being 5'-8". Her height may skew the estimated age. Height for the Jane Doe is estimated. PMI was 1983-1985, but that range might be little greater. Hair color is similar, and perhaps it is worth a comparison if there are dental records or DNA available.

No idea about the identifiers available for the missing person, but this UID is undergoing investigative genetic genealogy with Ramapo College and has been listed on their website since at least November 2023: Cases In Progress

jmo, it's amazing how many people on Namus this could be. Can see how there are so many ruleouts & hopefully we get some answers soon. One of these women's a little younger, but otherwise think they could possibly match. But honestly, there are probably half a dozen more people listed in Namus that could potentially match this Doe jmo. Wish we had a sketch.
