They're pretty cute...
Did anything but the initial report mention toys?
No it was only in the first article that was published..

Well, I checked Namus and it has no mention of the tarp mentioned prior. But, on UnidentifiedWiki it lists she was found with a tarp. I went back to NCMEC and it mentions nothing of a tarp. I am pretty sure someone mentioned this before but perhaps they referred to the reaper's cape as a tarp. There was no mention of toys in any of the previously linked articles and the ones I found. The odd thing is I was reading the article Body found by hunter listed as a female between 14 and 22 - The Gila Herald and the Sheriff mentions her as an "it" and said "Somebody wrapped it up in some stuff". So this most likely confirms she was wrapped in the "tarp" and possibly the sweater. Sad they referred to her as an it.
The initial reports said she was wrapped in a tarp. It might have been the costume/gown that they thought was a tarp.Well, I checked Namus and it has no mention of the tarp mentioned prior. I could see myself using it. In 'they found a body and it was wrapped in a tarp'.Likely at that point they didn't know if the remains were male or female. Many people, especially older people, will use "it" in that case. I'd use "they," but...
It's pretty common for initial reports of recovered bodies to be wrong. The people on the scene often make guesses that aren't confirmed on thorough examination or autopsy.
Slight bump, I was thinking about her.
Still no reconstruction and I can't find any new articles about her.
Have there been any new exclusions in NamUs?
Did you come up with anything? This case weighs on my mind. Why isn't it getting more attention?I am going to work on the case today, I will let u guys know what I get from it

Is anyone comfortable with contacting the investigators and seeing if there is more information available? Was she wearing any other clothes, shoes? Cause of death? Was there a tarp? Were there toys near where she was located? If so, what were they? Do they have any leads? Are there any other rules outs? Are they going to put her DNA in the system? And so many more questions...
Welcome SandraC! Thanks for joining the discussion. I'd love to see your pictures. This case weighs on my mind. A young girl has been murdered and no one is looking for her. Someone must know something.
Could it be Karlie Guse?
