Me, wondering:
But where are her belongings?
She had just that top and jeans, one wedge heels, fingernails painted light/faded purple, hair band on her wrist.
Any pockets? Any money left in those pockets? No purse? No backpack? No hoodie for the night?
Bold outfit choice for a homeless addict with enough money on her to go for cocaine on a whim.
Or does it sound more like a girl heading to a concert?
North 32 is where he claims that "whitness" picked her up.
400 West - what was then known as the Dodge Theatre.
Black arrow - body dumped.
It seems that there are two "sources" of info (or maybe I should use the word "narrative") in the materials provided by fmw63
First is THE GUY himself, from the call he made to the investigator, and second is his girlfriend, who spoke with investigator earlier, and repeated what THE GUY told her about the events on 26th (and those accounts seemed to vary)
So HIS story
for her was that
she has nothing to worry about and that he didn't do anything wrong.
THE GUY told the Woman that
he and his "friend" picked up a girl who was walking along the street (in the area of 32nd St. and Greenway Rd. in Phoenix). He claims that girl was "acting crazy" as she was high on drugs, then asked them if they knew where to buy coke. THE GUY's "friend" provided her a coke. Then she had a seizure and passed out.
THE GUY also told the Woman that he's going to Mexico and plans to stay there for a while cause he's illegally in US and fears arrest.
He told her that car is parked at a trailer park at 400 W. Baseline Rd.
Woman told the investigator that she will meet with him at the car and agree for it to be searched.
Later she confirmed that THE GUY was driving her car on the evening of 26th of April.
Investigator found two cans: coke on the rear floorboard and sprite on the front driver's area.
Later on that day investigator received a call from THE GUY. In that conversation THE GUY claimed that he was driving ALONE.
While talking with the investigator woman said that she has no idea about the identity of THE GUY's friends cause he wouldn't give her that information. Also added that he's very possessive and shares very limited information about himself.
The only info THE GUY gave her was that he was with "friends", either in Tempe or Mesa.
She appeared very concerned with the fact that her cd case was found next to a dead girl and wanted to question him about it.
CHRONOLOGICALLY IT SEEMED TO BE:
1. Investigator contacted this Woman. She was concerned with the fact that her CD case was found near the body of a dead Girl, and since in the evening of 26'th it was her boyfriend who was driving her car (where her CD's should be) she was very concerned and wanted to confront him about it.
2. Woman called the investigator back and told him how THE GUY explained himself.
3. THE GUY called investigator.
AND, in details, provided by THE GUY (IMO it looked like this, cause I read through that account and this is what I understood he said or/and what he said meant)
1. THE GUY claims that on the Friday night of the 26th of April he was by himself, driving his car when he noticed a girl walking on the side of the road in the area of 32nd St. and Greenway Rd. in Phoenix
But IMO, reading through fmw63's posts we learn that:
CAR WAS NOT HIS. IT WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND'S. SHE OWNED THAT CAR. THIS IS A LIE!
JMO. MOO. But that opinion was formed upon reading that investigator learned that car belongs to the Woman.
Worth noting (IMO)
THIS seems to be HIS SECOND VERSION OF THE STORY: looks like ONCE HE'S ALONE, ONCE WITH AN UNKNOWN FRIEND
2. Girl who appeared to be around 17 yo waved to him and had him to pull over,
3. He offered her a ride, she agreed.
She was only speaking Spanish, but according to his claim HE was the one who started the conversation, in Spanish.
4. She told him that she wanted to buy some concert tickets from Hispanic musical group that was coming to town.
And there indeed was a "Hispanic Favourite" concert of Joan Sebastian at the Dodge Theatre on the Saturday (27th) evening.
5. THE GUY agreed on driving her to the Food City groccery store at 40th st. and Washington st. so she could buy tickets. He also claims that as they were heading there he noticed her acting strange, pulling her hair and acting like high on drugs,
6. Girl allegedly then told him that her mother just kicked her out of the house cause of the drug problems, added that she has nowhere to stay and asked if she could move in with him,
7. When they arrived at the store, they found out that they're not selling any concert tickets,
8. Then they headed towards another Food City store, at the 32nd. St and Greenway Rd.
THIS IS THE SAME AREA WHERE THEY JUST CAME FROM - red arrow is where he supposedly picked her up, its near Food City store - so they drove all 16 miles to where the green arrow points at to check if they are selling tickets?
And then, despite of many (If not all) those other Food City stores being much closer to the one they supposedly visited, he decided to drive ALL the way back to the store nearest to apartment where he lived with his girlfriend and where he just picked up the Girl?
IMO, looks like he claimed that's exactly what he did. Below current (2022) state of this chain's stores in the area, googled by me:
9. According to him, while on the way there (Food Store at the 32nd. St) she changed her mind and decided to not buy tickets but asked if THE GUY knows where she could buy some cocaine,
10. So then he used his mobile phone to call a dealer, agreed to meet with him at 7-eleven store at Don Carlos Ave. and McClintock Dr. in Tempe to pick up the cocaine,
He claims that they drove from 32nd St. to the Washington St., then turned back, drove sometime in that direction, then called drug dealer, turned back again and headed to the address McClintock Dv.
That's at least an HOUR of driving around. An HOUR to the very least.
IMO, reading further through the fmw63's I learned that The Guy claimed that what happened later was:
11. As they arrived to the 7-eleven, drug dealer sat in the back seat, Girl was in the front passenger seat and THE GUY was driving,
12. Drug dealer wanted him to drive around while Girl sampled the cocaine,
13. Drug dealer gave her an "eight ball" of cocaine, she sniffed it and started convulsing,
14. Around 8:00 they got scared and decided to drop her off, drove behind a business, close to the 7-eleven, where they pulled her out of the front seat of the car and laid her down on the ground,
15. THE GUY claims the was still alive as they did that, cause "she was still moving",
BUT HE CLAIMED EARLIER THAT SHE PASSED OUT - didn't he? IMO he did.
16. Then they supposedly returned to the 7-eleven store where THE GUY dropped the drug dealer and told him to call 911 for the Girl
17. THE GUY then called his cousin claiming that he needs a ride,
HE WAS STILL AT THIS STORE PARKING LOT, WITH A CELLPHONE IN HIS HAND AND FREE TIME TO DO A CALL FROM PHONE AT THE STORE - in my opinion it's exactly what the things he said he did meant.
There was an emergency call made at the 7-eleven store at 8:15 PM on 26th of April made by an unidentified male who said something unintelligible, and then, asked if he's okay, replied with "yep" and ended the call when caller was asked what's happening there.
It is unknown who made that call or if it was related (at least according to the info from this thread), but it could - employees who would likely notice the girl while leavin work on 26th allegedly said that they left work about 6:30 PM.
18. Short time after this cousin was allegedly dropped at the store, he drove THE GUY to the check cashing store in the area of 32nd. St. and Thomas RD. where THE GUY was left and his cousin took the car and left,
Another map with route suggested by google:
19. Then THE GUY called his girlfriend (The Woman) to pick him up.
THE WOMAN SAID THAT
20. THE GUY called her to pick him up at a check cashing store, located at 35th ave. And Thomas rd. in Phoenix on Friday (26th of April) night, and that she arrived there around 9:00 PM.
21. Then they picked up her two daughters who were staying with family members and headed home.
22. As they arrived, home looked like someone broke in as doors were left wide open.
23. THE GUY entered the apartment and found that nothing was disturbed or missing but they decided to stay at hotel for the night for safety reasons.
24. They woke up at 9:00 AM next morning, returned home at 3:00 PM of the April 27th (Saturday)
25. On the 29th (Monday) she was contacted by the investigator and learned about the case. Later confronted THE GUY about it.
She heard from him that he was driving with his unknown friend and that they both picked the Girl up.
26. On the 30th she shared the story THE GUY gave her and went to meet with the investigator at the location where THE GUY told her that her car is. Car was searched.
27. Later on that day THE GUY called the investigator and told him his story.
THE GUY also claimed that:
- girl wasn't carrying anything with her, just had some cash,
- she didn't appear to be a prostitute,
- no sexual act ever occured between them, not even a kiss,
- he had "no idea" how could it happen that she had a dried semen stain on her pant leg (on the inner thigh and on the back),
- when she started having a seizure he unbuttoned her pants to "help her breathe"
All the above counts as allegedly and my opinion, but I believe that anyone who will read through this thread will have mostly same opinion, cause in my opinion, that's exactly what provided desctiptions are describing.
I'm not an insider, I just read through that and tried to do my best organising it in the clearest way possible.
