Laura would have testified as to when the tapping from Liz stopped, and that would have been near her demise (imo). I wish the testimony was recorded online somewhere. I'd love to read her testimony. I'm thinking Liz died 45 mins to an hour b4 the end. But thats a guess, but I think its there in Laura's testimony.

I wondered the same thing about the rounds..but I am willing to bet they were far too long..and there was NOT enough time between to recoop....This guy is one nutbar thinking he knew what he was doing in this Sweat Lodge..He even admitted he was told by an Native American Elder, that he was crazy to do what he plans!!!

The authors of this ritual deem it with reverance..Getting intouch with nature and souls of the "Wise"..It was never meant to alter human nature, or increasing ability to increase wealth or succeed in society...The only one truly benefiting financially was Mr. Ray..WHAT a selfish "Self Help Guru"!! This trial and testimony's should be reuired reading/observing before getting involved with Charlatans such as Mr. Ray!!!!! JMOO of course

ray shut down any attempt at input from anyone. It was HIS way or no way.

he basically blew her off when she disagreed with his characterization of her.

she says.....pressuring....he moves on, but he misstated what she said and she corrected him.

but his whole thinG is SHE HAD FREE WILL.

Holey Mac..The defense is suggesting this trial could go well into June..way past what was suggested..They (Def. Council) are already worried about their next case..:floorlaugh:..timewise..It appears they will do exactly the same thing with ALL witnesses..Ala..Free Will..Could leave whenever you wanted..and so on and so on...Point is with this witness ( and previous ones too) that browbeating, and peer pressures, not to mention James Ray himself..Everybody felt pressured to endure this abuses of their common sensical being..Yikes they paid 10,000 plus logging to endure this stuff!!

Adjourned..when are they planning to reconvene?? Monday?? or do they do Saturday's??

BTW..I agree the Def. Attny at their table did appear to be doing alot of face, and mouth coverings..not to mention eyeing each other..THEY know this witness could sink them IF they try to manipulate her!! :floorlaugh:

morn. Yeah Kelley, the lead def. Atty. Whined about the state repeating info. The exAmle he used was, " we know thAt it was 5 gallons of h20 in a white bucket, so why keep going over it."

unfortunanely it's not clear how many gallons of h20 wAs in the contao
iner and it only matters cause they ( the defense) is tring to make a big point out of the fact that little Jimmy had to drag the heavy container to the fire every time. Not sure why they think it's Important mAybe they are voing to plead exhaustion on his part, yeah right. But they made the biig deal about the wt. Originally.

I live in AZ and will say that the once wonderful Sedona has turned into a money hungry tourist trap. The location, with its red rocks canyons and its once sparkling clean Oak Creek was never meant to support so many people living on its land. It makes me so sad to visit there and see that the climate has changed (tempertures go over 100 degree there now in the summer) and there are too many homes, tourists shops and round the clock car and tour bus traffic.
I'm going to watch this case very closely. Thanks again for adding your thoughts.

I am shocked & amazed how gross & icky Oak Creek has become in just a few years (2002 to 2010). Too many people !!! Sedona is like Gatlinburg TN or Wall Drug SD now-a-days . . . and that's a shame.

It appears not too many are watching this...Mr. Li (Def. Attny) has asked the witness regarding a law suit she is party to against JRI..even named the lawyer, and case number..She is..however I think she is only one of a group who are civily suing JRI....Def. wants to impress to the jury of her biases in her testimony..However..long discourse between Judge/DA/Def regarding even mentioning this law suit due to DA is unaware of its content..status and who are all the parties involved..What a mess the defense has created:banghead:

They were on a short recess..that has turned into a long break now!!! Judge needs to read the papers that def. has on this case?? before he decides if DA can de-direct on this matter??..Yikes:banghead:

Meanwhile back at the ranch...We are back to live feed..2 hours after a short early break called..Sorry I did not hear the Judges ruling on this civil suit..
It appears the papers of this law suit are being addressed now....this witness never read the lawyers papers in the suit....Soooo..the lawyer made some errors..this apparantly wasnt her statement...This case has not been dealt with in the courts as yet?? and dont even know at this point IF it was just her as a the "Plaintive"...Sorry to be so vague :truce:

Defense is trying to say..that IF the present criminal case is a guilty verdict, the attny gets paid..so it is financially to her benefit to testify a certain way??..Even tho it says very clearly the attny doesnt get paid any fee unless the (civil) case prevails...This witness would NOT be out of pocket at all!!

I hope the jury has been listening..
