Wildheart48, can you please tell us what the summons noted below was for? Tia was supposed to appear July 1, 2010 but was a no show. I don't wish to put you on the spot, but in a murder case all facts are relevant. We are victim friendly here at WS, we never think any less of a person who may have been involved in a situation which was unsafe, or otherwise dangerous to their welfare.

Knox, I do not know what this is for but I noticed she was MIA and the case had to be vacated... the address on that summons is incorrect though. I appreciate all the links and new info everyone. q64ceo, she also used "Tia mama mia" and her myspace is tia reewind. sloane7777 thank you... because of you all, I am feeling a new sense of hope and strength... I know my prayers are being answered, this page is evidence of that.

I am beat... I will return tomorrow and Knox I have not forgotten your questions earlier... I will answer those tomorrow. Tia did not have a license, and while the stories are different, all coincide in that Tia needed a ride. Wildheart, what is this girl talking about, what did she do to Tia? Craigslist: have you ever found an ad for Tia there? Just noting that Tia's last activity date on ModelMayhem was July 13th, 2010.
Her friend however, has activity up to January of this year.

Wildheart48 I hope you feel you have found a safe place to share what you know in hope that you can find the answers you need. Please share what you know if you're comfortable, it can help, q64ceo is correct, if it would interfere in the investigation you would have multiple law enforcement asking you to not reveal certain facts. Actually you probably wouldn't even know the specifics that they wouldn't want publicized. I do feel safe speaking with you all and yes, I do know if there is something relevant to the integrity of the investigation it would not be disclosed... as i have said the things I have discovered so far are mostly on my own investigating and I have shared them with the Homicide Detective.
Knox, what is "Bumping"? In regards to some of your questions; I do not know what the girl who posted on MM is talking about, but she posted a similar posting on Tia's Myspace page back in July when Tia first went missing... (?) I did try speaking with her but she was not very forthcoming with information. I was told it was Tia's boyfriend who had someone else report her missing(In August!!) However, my son told me that Tia was broken up with the young man she had been seeing and that she was seeing "K" the young lady who was posting on her pages. She supposedly met with this photo shoot individual and was never seen or heard from again. I just don't understand why she was not reported missing until August if everyone was so worried about her. I didn't even find out until later that year... because it was mentioned to my sister!!

I do not know what her reasons are... maybe she is scared? I feel she may know something and have mentioned it to the detective. She spoke with my son when we first found out and his feeling was that she was not being honest. She had said a few things that came off as strange given the circumstances. According to what she told me, they both met this guy on Craigslist and he set them up with a portfoilio and accounts on another modeling site (MM?) But then she started to get spooked by him. Yes Tia lived with her... I would think that with the appearance of a new modeling career, they would have both mentioned his name in talking with friends...
Don't worry about asking me questions, if I can answer them I will, I don't feel anyway about it except I want to find answers and I want Tia to have justice. I know my daughter was involved with gang activity... makes me wonder if something went wrong there... ?

In those articles it says "Blunt Force Trauma" to the head but I was told by the detective they thought she had been strangled. I have wondered about that myself(Court Case). Being that this was a local but illegal dump site, it looks like someone would've come across her remains sooner than they did. Or maybe someone had come across it before, and was scared to speak up, thinking that they'd be in trouble for dumping trash at that site?

At any rate, I'm glad the family is able to have some type of closure now, even though it's a very sad ending and definitely not the outcome they would've liked to have seen.

I just want to know how the estimated date of death was so far off. Usually these folk do their job well. One would think that a competent coroner would have paid more attention. Their wrong identification of the possible date of death kept the Jane Doe from being identified for three years.

That's what is so crazy to me!!! This is where it gets confusing!! I spoke with a medical examiner... he does this for a living, and he said in his opinion, (based on his expertise) her remains were of someone who had been outside longer than 8 days. If this is true... then who was pretending to be Tia on her profiles? I would sure love to hear from her friends (Excluding "K") and hear it from them that Tia was alive and well until the alleged photo shoot.

You know what? I actually got some of the details from another case mixed into this one somehow...sorry about that! I was thinking of Katelyn Markham, and somehow intermingled that into this case. I agree that it's odd no one found her if it was in a camping area. Summer months are the times when people usually go camping, since their children would be out of school. Hmm. I hope they find whoever's responsible soon. A person who'd do something like that doesn't deserve to be out amongst the population. Ugh.

I have a question for the sleuthers following Tia's case... The fact that Tia was supposed to have had a profile (?) on Craigslist was pointed out, so I wonder did anyone ever try to find a profile or ad for Tia on Craigslist? It was brought to my attention that one was never found (to this person's knowledge) which was an interesting point, since it is mentioned several times on some postings... Just wondered... Thanks!
