Wildheart48, I wanted to offer my prayers and condolences. I just read through Tia's thread, and I hope justice is served soon! She was such a beautiful girl!

I found the friend "k" on Facebook, and wanted to ask you if was she ever brought in for questioning by new detective on case?

That post was made so long ago, I kinda doubt the content is still relevant. I tried looking for her FB profile, albeit not excessively, but I couldn't find it. I may try again when I'm not working. I am away from the house for 14 hours when I work so it leaves no real time for that. The problem is, searching her name, when you only have an idea of the first name, is kinda difficult without proper photos. I'm curious as well, but honestly, we have absolutely no idea if she had any involvement or truly knows who did. So little information has ever been released.

Hello Websleuthers... Forgive my extended absence. Life had other plans for me. Hathor16, you are correct. My son chose to leave this world and I have had to fight to come back from that. I saw a post on a cold case page on FB from a woman who stated she was Tia's "Foster" grandma which kicked me into gear to come back here. I know the family took care of Tia from time to time when she and her dad didn't see eye to eye. She didn't have much to offer on the post though. I am sad to report nothing more has come to light... in fact every agency I had contact with has stopped communicating. I am at work but will be back later.

Kandi Kaine is the name she goes by now... she has even commented on Justice for Tia Page
