Wildheart,
Thanks for continuing to respond to our questions, and sharing the information you do have. I realize you may not have answers to the questions I'm about to pose, and that's okay. I am currently estranged from my mother, not because I don't care about her and worry about what happens to her. I just can't be in a relationship with her right now. I certainly would not judge the complexity of familial relationships. Sometimes they just don't work.
These questions are more about framing Tia's disappearance in a way that may make it more likely that someone like Nancy Grace would pick up her story. To send it national so to speak.
I'm curious as to when her bank statements and other financial accounts were last accessed. I wonder how close a relationship she had with her father, and when the last time he was in touch with her. Did her father report her missing? Who actually did? Maybe it has been reported, but I don't remember reading it in a clear way if it has.
It would be interesting to note how the summons to appear was rejected at her address. Was her roommate saying at that time that she hadn't seen her in awhile? The roommate may have felt comfortable saying to the mail carrier, I haven't seen her in a week. Or she moved out. Or try and catch her tomorrow morning, she should be home. I would love to hear from her mail carrier. I'm curious if it was like her to avoid her responsibility, like responding to her summons. That could be a good indication that she may have gone missing well before at least July 1st (and perhaps during the time the certified summons was attempting to be delivered).
I wonder when the roommate got a new roommate in order to help pay for expenses. I wonder what her neighbors say about the comings and goings of her residence.
This case is infinitely frustrating to me, so I can imagine how frustrating it is for you, Wildheart. Did you decide to open a facebook page to help bring awareness to Tia's case?
Thanks again, and I hope you've found some level of comfort by being able to come here and share Tia's story.
ETA: It looks like HLN did cover this story in March 2013. It might be prudent to contact the journalist for an update. Has anyone new been added to the list of women with the Model Mayhem connection?
