You know, I am just not computer savvy, I do not know how to obtain this... I do know she was found off of Young Road between Payson and Show Low... about 2.5 - 2.7 miles down and about 80 ft. off the road... the exact location is at home in my papers... I tried locating this on Google maps... do you know how to do this?

Wildheart, I am not much more experienced than you at technology :blushing: but from what I am able to do, I think that she was found off of National Forest Road 512, Young- Heber Road, which MAY be part of Tonto National Forest. I also noticed Fort Apache Indian Reservation pretty close by... I can't figure out how to plot that distance down the road, and off the road, I wonder if she was on the reservation (In which case you may be able to get Tribal support?) or if she was in the National Forest, I THINK that means it would be a Federal case! Meaning FBI! Please someone correct me if I am wrong!!! I have heard of someone who grew marijuana on National Forest land getting Federal charges?!!

Can any other more tech savvy or legality knowledgeable folks weigh in?

I think you are right, when Carey Stainer killed the three women in Ca wasnt the FBI called in because "park rangers" werent experienced enough ? or because one minor was from Italy, I just cant remember

Ok so OT sort of, I love the name Tia and Tea both I just had a grandaughter and I pushed for one of those names, (didnt win she is named Millie after my grandmother) but I was thinking about that last night and all of a sudden I get a message : my co-workers Tia (aunt) had passed away(her exact words) and she would be out for the week, at the very same time as I was watching discovery ID a commerical for a new show about a phychic who has solved many cases came on and guess what her name is (drumroll) TIA! now I dont know anything about this woman but I do believe signs guide us , Wildheart as Tia's Mom I think you should email her or A&E http://www.aetv.com/psychic-tia/meet-cast/tia/ and keep emailing as it would give the case attention (if nothing else)

I think just the fact that they have the same name might get some attention, I just thought it odd that that popped up 3x in less than 2 min. I totally see it as a sign! also there is a member hollye that is an excellent mapper, ill pm her!

Maybe someone with coding knowledge, can look at the profile photo? Who is our resident WS Person with that ability?

I looked and did not see a date stamp in the html code. You can view the code in Internet Explorer using the shift and F12 key, a box will pop up and you can view the code. I have a friend who is an ethical hacker (yes there is such a thing) and I am going to pose the question of a time stamp within html code.

Reservation land is federal land. So you are right that either the officers on res would deal with issues there of Federal LE. No state LE.

I contacted the Detective and asked him for the coordinates, he stated he wasn't sure they were logged (?) He did give me the information of the location where Tia was found... I don't know if you can convert this into exact coordinates, but here it is: 2.5 miles on Forest Service Rd. 512 south of SR 260 and 83’ west of 512 I HOPE this helps...

I don't believe the land is reservation... however it is a National Forest. I have not been in contact with my connection as of yet, but I will definitely be inquiring about that!!

I noticed a pull off area for cars where the blue square is directly across the street from where the star is representing the area Tia was found.
