Yes, you just never know... Tia did receive some money from the tribe as per capita... not a whole lot but... her and her dad had their ups and downs... usual I think. I know my son was very upset with her pictures on MM and asked her to stop but she said she "had to make that money"... It really is a shame how things are becoming more acceptable.

OT: I saw my Daughters friend Isamara Nino on the First 48 last night and I am floored she was murdered for having known something about another friends murder, She was Like Tia so beautiful,such potential, its running rampant these days

I'm so sorry to ask, but is there any chance she was using drugs? As we know, addictions throw out all of the rules on acceptable choices... The young ladies that I have known to go down that road as referred to earlier had addictions (sometimes created by predatory scumbags who got them hooked on purpose.)
But CL to me sounds like offers to model, act or other...

Hopefully it has nothing to do with your beautiful angel!

As far as I knew Tia smoked pot, and drank although I do not know the frequency of either... if she was involved in other substances, I do not know.

It is 4:15 am and I woke up with thoughts of your precious daughter that was taken from this earth too soon. I felt led to tell you, as you and I have both established our spirituality/faith with each other, that Tia is a beloved child of God and is with Him in everlasting paradise where all of the pain and entropy of this world as we know it passes away and only God's everlasting love remains. She can't wait to meet you when you make it to meet our Father someday. I know she is looking down at you and is so proud of her strong mama and would do anything to wrap her arms around you and surround you with her love.

She is playing with the butterflies in the grand prairies of heaven surrounded by all of your loved ones that have passed.

When you reunite with her, what a joyous experience that will be. You must always focus on this Positive and Divine inevitability as you did in your former post. We all, as beloved children of God, will be reunited with each other and Him.

Your daughter had a tattoo of her last name on herself. (This other "friend" of hers had a name, not sure if her own or a nickname, tatted on her as well.)

It is becoming increasingly common for girls who have become victims of sex trafficking to have their real names or nicknames given by their pimps/abductors tattooed on them as a "branding" of sorts. This raises my suspicions that your daughter might of found a male confidant (I wonder who...) that she trusted to become a pimp/"sugar daddy" of sorts and decided to work for. Once in you can't get out. These men are proficient at making girls feel like they are completely accepted into "the family" only to be abused/raped/murdered if they do not comply with or try to leave the "Sugar Daddy".

I worry imho that Tia wanted to begin her own hustle to make her own cash and leave the situation behind her, but this upset the wanna be sugar daddy that had "taken her in". These guys prey on young women who lack a solid family core or paternal connection. Many rescued from sex trafficking have similar biographical backgrounds to Tia.

So yeah.... Those tattoos. Sorry I went on a tangent there.

I have been told that Tia knew and was affiliated with some... "characters" I have thought about that possibility... it's just hard when you don't have any of the people who knew her, or even "friends" trying to help. It's not for me, it's for Tia!!! I can't imagine why all the people who knew her are remaining silent!?!? Puts you in a bad head space....

I am sorry but I have to say this... when America started removing God from everything, it sealed it's fate... It was once the most blessed Nation but now it is crumbling... everything is going south!!!

Yes , I agree with you on that! its almost like there is nothing to keep anyone in check, and yes when I saw Izzy's episode I was thinking maybe Tia knew something as my mind seems to go there so much, or if it werent for Ks comments in the area there does seem to be alot of danger for young women (I guess thats everywhere though) I would think maybe it was a stranger but her backpack being found in the opposite direction seems like someone was trying to distract or deflect I wish you had that backpack or at least pics of what was inside, I wonder did it look like clothes for a go see, or shoot-or clothes that just need to be washed, that would be an important clue, will the detective maybe send you pics , they usually take pics in open cases then file them, or at least tell you the type of clothes she had?

In my theory and feeling from everything I've gathered from this case, I feel that a close friend of Tia's betrayed her and sold her off for money.

I think this friend got into prostitution as a means for cash to feed her own child possibly (IMO) and possibly feed a drug habit simultaneously. From day 1 she used Tia as a pawn to take pictures with and garner more attention in her self Imposed career as a prostitute. Tia was prettier than her - it's obvious.

I believe at least two males had gotten in touch with this friend of Tia's through the Internet (MM). This friend and Tia met up with the two men for what Tia believed was just a photoshoot.

Tia became freaked out by the men bc they were into questionable fetishes and she could tell they didn't just want to take fetish pictures. They wanted to take snuff pictures. Tia's friend was not as freaked out and still was interested in some capacity as the men seemed to have money... That cash she needed to feed her baby and her habit.

So not long after Tia had narrowly escaped these snuff artists, Tia's friend tells her that she has a great connection to help both of them make good money modeling. It's the same guys that weirded Tia out before, but the friend promises Tia that nothing bad will happen to her. "It's just a photo session. Good money."

Tia's friend says she can't come along to meet the men and finds an excuse, like her baby is in the ER or something.

Tia shows up to the mens house for the shoot, but finds out all too late that the men have more sinister intentions. The men sexually assault her. They use too much force while trying to suffocate her during a fetish and she passes on. They may even have photos of all of this. I would not doubt it IMO.

They put her in a car and drive into the superstitions to leave her where she would be found 3 months later (not 8 days).

I believe this "friend" sold Tia out for money. She knew these men most likely were up to no good, but she produced Tia to them all for the money. God will judge this "friend" of Tia's accordingly. I pity this friends soul. Vengeance is God's. Justice for Tia.

I just found this thread and I’ve read every word. Wildheart I cannot begin to imagine everything you’ve been through. You have a couple of really amazing people on here working on her case, and hopefully a couple more (myself included) can help out as well. I’d like to say up front that I’m going to say a couple of things here that for you as her mother might be hard to read. I would just like to state up front that the only reason I am bringing any of it up is because I feel like it’s going to be important to her case. There is no judgment here, especially from me.

First I’d like to say I think I’m coming from this from a little bit of a different angle than a lot of you are. A lot of you have had the pain of an estranged child. In my case I am the child. I’m 25, and a lot of my adult life has been in one way or another estranged from my mother. Right now I’m not physically, just emotionally, as she is disabled and needs my help to care for her. In my case it’s a little bit different though, as my mother just doesn’t love me. Anyway I’m hoping my slightly different perspective can help here.

First and most obviously, nothing her friend has said is true in any way. The fact that there is a wall of silence proves a lot in my opinion. The entire time I was reading I was thinking as someone said earlier (I feel better I wasn’t the only one to think it) that craigslist is used a lot for a certain profession. I think the person off craigslist the friend refers to might not be a photographer, but perhaps from something like that. Now a few of my friends have done it in one way or another. It’s nothing big or scandalous anymore sadly, but it is still very very very dangerous.

I don’t think she did it voluntarily exactly. The way that comment from K read it almost seemed like she was trying to cover her own behind. Like if investigators did somehow find out about it she wanted it to look like it was Tia’s idea, and not hers. That makes me think she is somehow involved, at fault, or at the very least knows exactly what happened. I feel she, and those around her, know what happened because she wasn’t reported missing. If my best friend was missing for 12 hours I’d be calling hospitals. At 24 I would be ringing the police stations phone off the hook. (In fact I woke up to police banging on my bfs door one night because my best friend did report me missing when she couldn’t find me for a day and a half)

Do you feel like LE are actively involved in trying to find your daughters killer? From what I’ve seen it doesn’t feel like they really are, but that doesn’t mean anything. They could just be playing it really close to the vest.

I have a ton more thoughts on this I just wanted to get out some of my initial ones.

I have pondered these very scenarios you both have spoke of and I would love to see her case aggressively investigated. I am going to, under the suggestion of a friend here, see if we can get her case recognized on one of those TV sleuth shows... it could not hurt. I don't know when, but I do know Tia will have her justice!! MY faith is in God and He has never disappointed me EVER!! Nobody can hide from Him...

10/30/10 It's the same comment as the craigslist one, but a different part. I'm looking through the MM stuff now searching press for all the photogs to see if anything of interest comes up. Is there anything in particular you want to know? I'd be happy to look.
