Intermountain Forensics is honored to join the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner (AZ) and a dedicated team of independent Investigative Genetic Genealogists in announcing the identification of an unidentified man found in 1987. Through the efforts of this remarkable team, he has now been confirmed as Kenneth Dreux Spuller.

In 1987, the remains of an unidentified man were discovered, known only as "Blue Paint John Doe." For decades, his identity remained a mystery. It was not until the application of investigative genetic genealogy in recent years that critical breakthroughs were achieved, allowing the team to bring long-awaited answers to light.

His family story is certainly sad, including issues with drugs, suicide, untimely deaths (some suicide or drug related, some unclear), and jail. His father, two brothers, and one half brother all died young. He actually outlived all his brothers. He wasn't from Arizona originally..
