Why would they remove them from the home? The FBI does not do that. If CPS was going to remove them from the home they could have done that any time.

When did the boys start interviewing? I was at the grocery store when I read Spellman's tweet, so I'm thinking around 5?
5-9 would have been a lengthy interview, no?
Maybe (knock on wood) the parents had an interview too, and as such the boys went home with grandparents when they were done at 7. =P
With DHS/CPS SOP says a court hearing happens first to determine if the kids should be removed, but in the case of apparent risk of imminent danger, you can remove them first and have the hearing second. So if they removed them it wasn't for drinking that night, it was for some justifiable concern of imminent danger. I think that is unlikely, but certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
This is great news!
I want to (and keep trying to) think of a logical, benign explanation for why the parents came home without the boys. We've listed a few possibilities here but it doesn't seem any of them fit both of those categories.
I doubt it since the parents happily let the media follow them around onPure speculation...
Someone else took the boys home, when their interviews were finished,, to have them avoid media
Perhaps the parents stayed back for a bit to talk with the atty, then he gave them a ride home
This is a mom that drank 5-10 glasses of wine while nobody was watching the kids or the young baby. Nope.It could just be that they think they are protecting the boys by letting them sleep at Grandma's and not have to come home to the media buzz when the media is obviously trying to get pictures to go with "boys questioned", where the boys would be the focus. That is logical and benign. It could be more. I'm sure we'll know soon though.
Maybe this is why Deborah and Jeremy returned to the bro's home. Maybe CPS said the the parents cannot be near the kids so the kids are at the grandparents. I wish they could go visit Hazel.I just hope that IF CPS had the feeling they needed to protect these boys, that the boys are atleast with other family memebers - they have been through enough.
If one of the boys told the investigator that mommy frequently blacked out after drinking that red liquid, smoked a funny glass pipe sometimes, ate pills like candy, threw the baby up against the wall, slapped them, and etc....CPS would be immediately called. Why would they remove them from the home?
