Mr. Baez has every right to have the evidence that the state will use to charge Casey. Especially the exculpatory which I doubt there is much of. He also requested a lot of things which have nothing to do with his clients charges. Maybe he could ask Judge S for all the sealed documents on the Kennedy assasination as well. And if Judge S can get jurisdiction in Aruba.....

Our legal system is a "One step at a time" system. Mr. Baez seems to have jumped ahead a few steps.

Clearly...but hey, why not throw the kitchen sink in while he's at it. As far as his request to free Casey for travel, that's a bit late IMO.

So Casey wants to travel to find her daughter. Now really, why would a judge allow that when she hasn't been truthfully forthcoming with any helpful information? She should be mighty grateful I'm not the judge in this case. Her little butt would have never been released from jail after all the lying stunts she pulled. :gavel:

I would ask her directly where the child was and when she did not answer, I would put her in jail for contempt of court and hold her until she told. Simple.

i am stunned. STUNNED. Why oh why have the A's not fired this person Seriously, I think he may have actually have crossed from the dark side and is now actively TRYING to get her the DP.

First of all he comes right out and admits that she is guilty (the "not in her best interest to talk to LE" comment) and now he is filing motions that scream "CHARGE MY CLIENT"!

Not to mention all of his other "mistakes". IT'S TRUELY ASTOUNDING.

I am going to thank God every night that JB is on the case. THANK GOD. I really don't we could have picked a better lawyer for the monster if we had tried.

Okay I just had to clean up a 20 page thread of name calling and other assorted junk. if you have anything on this thread that is:

insinuates that KC and JB are having an affair

I am appalled at this court document. It is so unprofessional and rambling. Look at Doc p.2 and read to the bottom of the page, then on Doc.P3 - It makes no sense at all.

From what law school did this man supposedly graduate?

I have it - He is using the non-high school graduate to write them. KC is his new document writer.

People charged with murder are entitled to bond unless there is a flight risk.

Why would a judge put Casey under home confinement with an ankle monitoring device if he didn't think she was a flight risk? Is there another reason the court feels the need to track her movement if not to ensure that she doesn't flee?

He asked her but before she could answer he said something about how he could not make her answer that. I think it was either the bond hearing or the gag order hearing.

Plus - the Feds could still determine, depending upon what Casey has said/will say to them, determine to REMOVE her case to the federal courts... it's definitely NOT too late for that either, folks!

Could you talk a little more about going to the federal courts. What would cause it, what the charges would be, why feds have jurisdiction in a possible murder case, etc. TIA

Snipped the middle of the article because I am vastly confused. How can JB and KC put in their motion that Caylee has been missing since 6/15 when GA is on Greta stating he saw KC and Caylee on the afternoon of the 16th. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Ok...I've been reading through the motions again. It seems on page 3 Baez refers to Casey lying about where she and Caylee lived...at least that's what it says in print. I don't remember this...where did she say she was living?

Also, I liked the part at the end (page 20ish) where Baez is asking for all of this evidence because his client has a right to it. It makes her look bad. She should be able to know why she's subject to the public's hatred. He's kidding right?

Okay I'm reading the motions for the first time just now - Baez keeps stating cases in which evidence wasn't given to the defense team for these items to be tested in the defense case - am I missing a charge here? Did Casey get charged with murder? Because these motions make no sense - Casey's rights under the constitution have not been violated, because according to Baez, the authorities have hogged all the evidence - well all I can say is Mr. Baez, get your client off her duff and go get evidence! Honestly, if Casey was honest to begin with there wouldn be all this evidence! if Casey wants evidence tell where Caylee is, dead or alive - there thats the big bang right there! Baez could be the hero!

I think the only thing Baez is going to get with all these requests is the Children Services report - he won't get the travel, nor the evidence testing, nor the polygraph testing info, and definately nothing to do with Zenaida

Also in the motions Baez keeps referring the charge to be neglect and all this evidence is for murder, not the neglect - the neglect is stemmed from the 30 days to report her daughter missing Baez knows this

Like I've said before and I stand by my statement, Casey does not come off as an honorable forgiving person - just by her actions, statements and what her friends have said, my guess is that Casey holds a grudge and would get back at these people - Zenaida, even tho there is no Zenaida who babysat and this is not the Zenaida, I can see problems here - plus if I were Amy, Jesse or any friends that have done interviews where Casey could see them, she will try to get back at them

Very well said, Trac, and I completely agree. Although we're all waiting for the major charges, maybe JB already has them? <<kidding--don't everybody get excited>> He'll get his evidence when his client gets the charges. Not a minute before. And I doubt all that JB has requested will be introduced into evidence in the child neglect or false statements charges. What else does the prosecution have to do except against George, Cindy, Lee, friends, etc., when was the last time you say Caylee? The fact that no one seems to know where she is would indicate neglect to me!

Standard legalese. That's actually what they call the 'prayer' paragraph, where they're praying (asking) for specific relief.
