And do you think that Cindy will take this sitting down? Aw h$ll no! she will through Casey under the bus quicker than the judges gavel! Casey says one thing bad about Cindy and Cindy will spit back harder than ever before

The thing is, Casey doesn't want to lose her money train - if she throws the A's under the bus and gets acquitted - she will not be able to go home - she has no friends - where will she live, with Baez? Yeah his wife will let that happen! LOL

JB could brief the A's, look CA we are going to throw you under the bus and it will get ugly but KC will get the justice she deserves and be acquitted, rather than be framed by LE. Then, if LE comes after you KC will make statements that totally invalidate your involvement given she is protected by double jeopardy. Voila!

The only person forcing Casey to be in jail until trial is Casey herself. If there is a TRUTH anywhere in any of her stories and she has adamantly refused to give it. Instead, she plays "Clue" and expects LE to figure out who Mrs. Peacock and Miss Scarlet are and where they could have killed Col. Mustard with the candlestick (or chloroform) in the Music Room.
<Snip>

It is the highest stakes game of Clue I have ever seen. Kind of like the Charades at the Xgames. I would really like to an SNL skit with Baez's opening statements to the jury being done in a charades game format.

At this point I honestly hope they are all following a script and Baez's role is to lull the prosecution into a false sense of security by playing the third stooge to Casey and Cindy. Their only hope at a defense is that this is a brilliant bluff on his part and he is secretly a talented attorney. It is a hell of a preformance he is turning in if that is the case ;)

You have a good point here.

Baez says what Casey has to say will "explain everything".

I have often pondered if the A family realizes that the Baez/Casey bus is coming right for them. [Can I get a "sweetheart"? :) ] I have no doubt in my mind that Casey in her defense will throw at least one member of her family under the bus in the hope to create some reasonable doubt.

Remember, as far as we know, the last non-Anthony family member to see Caylee alive was someone at the nursing home in Mt. Dora. [Correct me if I am wrong.] Cindy was the last one seen with Caylee. Baez could factually start from there...

This is what I suggested in when we were trying to come up with anything "plausible" you could tell the jury. Throw Cindy under the bus, play the clips of her running around with the hammer with the protestors....

Doesn't it hit anyone as strange that this man does not seem to have the money to defend this case?

As everyone knows, one of my brothers is an attorney and when he takes a case, he hires PI's, consultants, what and whomever it takes to make the case. Expenses for a good defense can run into the 1/4 million dollar range. This man has only had one person in this and that is Dr. Lee and we don't know if he has even been paid and then he can't pay the state's bill for $980.00

I think JB's Defense budget is running on fumes because he is passing on all his other mundane DUI cases in his small Practice and is focused on this, on the basis of future media rights and earnings -- the big time but it seems he has little to no capital assets today to fund it.

So not only is he not fairly advising KC on strategy, i.e., plea deals --- setting her up but KC is getting inadequate defense because he is operating on a shoestring . . . literally!

I think it's an all or nothing deal. Either he gets ALL the tips or none of them. He can't make the prosecution evaluate each tip before turning it over to him. That's HIS job. What a lazy man he is

JB had previously claimed that he had a team of 40 people ready and waiting to process the tips. More JB BS that you can Anthonize over.

I don't think she was going to tell the truth when she wanted to talk to them. Nothing is stopping her from telling them the truth now, and nothing was stopping her then.

She was going to do what Casey does, lie lie lie and then lie some more. In her world if you tell enough lies or the same one over and over enough times the people around you either start to believe you or give up out of exhaustion.

She told them she wanted to talk, conferred with Baez who for once in his life gave her decent advice and said no. More lies on the record would not help her. She has no moral code whatsoever, she doesn't care about her daughter or her parents. She cares about Casey and was going to try to tell them something that would keep her from going to jail. The truth certainly ain't gonna do that.

She could still tell where caylee is without admitting to having murdered her. Kc will never tell the REAL truth, but as long as she gives up caylees location, it doesnt matter what her spin is. The truth will be established in the courtroom
For example " I really dropped her off, but when I went to pick her up I found her lifeless body. I panicked because i didnt think anyone would believe me, and hid her___________________. I was worried that they might come after me and my family if I went to the police ,so I was really only doing it out of love for them. I'm not a bad person, honestly. I am absolutely telling the truth".

I dont agree that Jose was giving her good advice by telling her to keep her mouth shut.. unless its part of a strategy to get a dismissal due to the publics outrage at her silence.

the disposal scene and the skeletal remains may have evidence that further incriminates her

I just watched the interview and something that stood out to me is that he referred to his client as "Casey" and not "Miss Anthony". It seems somewhat unprofessional and a little too familiar. I think the quote was something like "My job is to defend Casey to the best of my ability."...

If she ever talks, its not likely to be in front of all the cameras, imo. and yes she has had numerous oportunities to talk, but the time she was ready to crack for whatever reason, she was stopped by Jose. Actually, it may have even been twice, IIRC.
(The letter, and then when they arrested her the last time.)
I'm pretty certain that as long as Jose is her representation, she wont talk. Now if he were a good man, and a good attorney, he wouldve taken the states offer way back when, and advised her to talk and then get her the best deal he could. Her honesty would have worked in her favour with a jury.
In an effort to protect his client (aka: make a name for himself) he made the public have an extremely negative bias toward kc......not that she needed much help LOL

KC will claim that she spent years in the A house being sexually abused by her father and brother. She made a heartbreaking decision to give her child up for adoption to an unknown family to save said child from becoming a victum as well. In order to protect Caylee she will face the prospect of spending the rest of her life in jail to protect her baby from the horrors that KC experienced at the hands of her family members..Good story right?..Does this give you pause?...If you were on the jury would it give you any reasonable doubt..KC is not above throwing anyone under the bus, even her own family..She has already planted the seeds for her story and the fact that LA has disappeared and GA & CA have been absent from any jail visits since KC was arrested the last time.

You know Ms MacGyver...you may just have hit the nail on the head with CA's hammer.

In Diane Down's case IIRC, Diane's father was accused of sexual abuse over and over. I wouldn't doubt that the A's have not seen the made for TV movie!

All this traveling in the guise of checking for "tips" is hogwash...it will always coincide with a TV appearance....

The A's cover many options in doing all this...plus their internet presence:

They throw out over and over false information...

They keep the "tip" line generating tips...gads I despise that word...

They keep the donations rolling in....

They are rolling the dice that this will land on one or two jurors...

They keep themselves public for the "book and movie" deals...

Thinaire is betting that when the time comes...JB will say he is not prepared and needs to delay, needs a change of venue besides...cause the cadaver dogs ate his homework while he was on da' television :banghead:

I never post. But I must ask you know the child is in you message. sorry off topic

On her parents' July 30th visit to the jail, Casey was so jolly and chipper, and when they showed her the Caylee T-shirts they were wearing, she barely had a reaction. She was too busy thinking of herself and whining because she'd been trying to catch up on sleep she had missed instead of getting emotional over seeing her baby's picture of those shirts. Wouldn't anyone else have teared up over seeing the shirts?

George told her the house was very quiet - and she laughed! The house is quiet because CAYLEE ISN'T THERE and her mother is in jail and all Casey does is laugh! She also makes goofy faces when her dad talks seriously about Caylee. It's as if Casey wants to get onto another subject - herself.

Her parents were dead serious during the visit but Casey was jolly. WTF!!

Who is the child in your message? If you don't mind me asking.

MsMacGyver:
All Casey needs to do to make this "reasonable doubt" is to give a name. If this is what she has done, she went through a process. Who did she give Caylee to? Where is Caylee now? Where are the funds she received from this adoption? How did she find these people? Who did she contact in order to make this possible?

Sadly, the time to tell THIS story is now. Once the trial starts, there is no more time to do investigation into whether Casey is finally telling the truth. Since thus far, she has failed to do that, it should be expected that anything else that appears to be self-serving and said in an effort to get her out of trouble once again, is just that...self-serving....not reasonable doubt.

Like a bottle of chloroform? Yeah-that kind of thing would be pretty hard to explain, but bloody clothes or anything like that would be explained by her admission of having placed her there and had physical contact post mortem.

It wouldnt work though if she says I put her in the lake with gators, (clearly not a loving act) or.... anyway,I dont want to go down that road :(...but you get my drift.

I wouldnt buy it for a second. I doubt anyone would. She left caylee with her family all the time to go out and hang with friends. If she feared for caylees safety, she would have never left her alone with them....jmo

No, this would not give me reasonable doubt. Not even a little bit. I can't understand any of this anymore. Seriously, many many people have been sexually abused. Many Many people have mental and emotional disorders. There is a proper course of treatment for these things. There is help out there and the path that Casey and Cindy and George for that matter have taken is NOT THE NORM. I don't care what Casey's reasons are for murdering, hiding, selling, losing, protecting....Caylee were. It would not matter to me if God forbid George was abusing Caylee and Casey wanted to (murder)protect her from that. There is a way to deal with these things. I don't think there is any Casey code or missing pieces to this puzzle. Casey murdered her daughter because she was beginning to become an inconvienence in her life. Cindy and George should have sought out help for their daughter a long time ago (if she has a mental incapacity) because claiming that she has one now is no excuse in my eyes. There is no excuse for any of these people and they should all be held responsible for their part in this bizarre fiasco.

I also think that's the reason Caylee was murdered.

It's really sad to think that Caylee died for such a selfish reason.

Also, the more I think about this case the angrier I get with Cindy.

I think that Casey never even considered giving custody to Cindy because she knew that Cindy would have belittled her & critized her for .."Not being able to raise her own child"

I keep thinking about Jessie saying that Cindy would say things like...."What are you wasting your time with her for?.......She couldn't even graduate High School "

I can only imagine how Cindy would have used KC not wanting to raise Caylee as leverage against her.

I'm not saying that Cindy's responsible in anyway for Caylee's death but I do think she's partially responsible for turning Casey into the monster that she is.

YOu are right Jose is all about Jose. I think if kc was offered a great Deal Jose would not let her take it, he wants his 5 minutes of fame in that court room-But he is such a moron that it will be 5 minutes of shame. Who in their right mind would ever use him as thier Lawyer after the fool he made of himeself in this case. But there is a God up above -he is the perfect lawyer for kc- all Jose cares about is himself and all KC cares about is Kc. Very sad no one cares about Caylee-I follow this case but I cant stand to look at pictures of that baby-it makes me sick. I hope the evil one rots in jail and gets what she deserves. It wont be good for her in prison -in prison she will be a marked women-at least I hope so

I haven't read this whole thread, so I apologize if I am repeating other posters, but FOR PETE'S SAKE!!!

The last question Matt asks is that he assumes Casey knows JB is there today, and does she have anything she wants him to tell the world.

JB goes on and on about the workings of the judicial system and how Casey is innocent. At no point does he say that Casey loves or misses Caylee. At no time does he speak to Caylee and say, "We're looking for you, Sweetheart! Your Papa and Grandma are coming to find you! Your Mommy loves you and misses you so much!" At no time does he plead with the kidnappers (ahem) to look deep into their hearts for a shred of humanity and please, please, drop Caylee off at the nearest firestation or hospital or Wal-Mart.

It's like he isn't even trying.

:banghead:

ITA. If this family truly believes that Caylee is alive, why aren't they using every opportunity to get a message through to Caylee. If she was alive, she would be frightened and alone. She could be cold, hungry or in pain. How can they hold back from telling her they love and miss her--that they promise to find her? With all of the unthinkable things that can happen to a kidnapped child, they show no worry whatsoever about the horrors that Caylee could be enduring or what a message from her family might mean for her.

Instead, every appearance is used to broadcast fake "live Caylee sightings." Where is the care and concern for what Caylee is enduring?

Yep, this is very telling. If you thought your loved one was alive, you would try to comfort them and tell them you are searching for them. We have seen none of that from KC or the A's.
