LMAO! Just like Stuart Smalley from SNL. "I'm good enough...I'm smart enough...and doggone it, people like me!"

This might make for my next Separated at Birth picture!

I don't know everytime I look at him I am waiting for him to start doing the Pee Wee Herman laugh. He looks like a fat Pee Wee. I can't help but laugh everytime I see his pic.

"I wrote a scholarly brief in this case"

Did he say that?

Why qualify the word "brief" unless the usual one is 1/2 :behind: ed?

OY. :jester:

"We believe she is alive, and for reports to be thrown out there is wrong"

"I reviewed his comments, and he was taken out of context"

Well JB, in that case, it must be true...:banghead:

he's STILL talking! total interview time so far: been talking for 8+ straight minutes....
"...I'd seriously caution all of you from misreporting anything that would affect my business..." jeez - veiled threats to the press.

Sounds like JB had a come to Jesus meeting with his wife. I think she told him his dealing with "that flozzie" is gonna cost me my dream house.:behindbar

What a dumb a$$. At the end of it, he said, "Thank you. I have no further questions." Isn't it reporters that ask the questions and not the one giving the press conference? Did he think he was in court?

I don't even know why I watched it. He makes me so mad. :furious::furious::furious:

He does seem to have trouble with public speaking. Remember when he said..."I EMPLOY you...." What I think the genius meant to say was...IMPLORE.

Somebody please get this guy a dictionary.

Baez: Report ‘Inaccurate’

Update at 2:15 p.m.: Attorney Jose Baez emphasized that he believes Caylee Marie Anthony is alive. “I want to make it as clear as possible…we believe Caylee is alive. I’ve said that from Day 1,” Baez said outside his Osceola County office during a news conference that just ended.

~snip~

Baez criticized the media, agreeing with Black that the quote was in response to someone else’s joke and was taken out of context.

http://www.wesh.com/breakingnews/index.html

We have already proven that wasn't true. Keep talking, Baez!!!

Birds of a feather flock together I suppose! Neither he or Cindy came keep their mouth shut, which of course would be fine if they made any sense whatsoever. Do they not even realize how ridiculous they sound?

The one who defended SP........Lacie's husband.

Oh, ok. Now I remember. Don't think I would wan't them as an attorney. Bad track record.

Well JB, in that case, it must be true...:banghead:

I know. I couldn't believe JB said the statement about Caylee being dead was taken out of context. Did this man really pass the bar?

  • #215
OK, it still sounds like "I know you think you heard what I said but I'm not sure if you realize what you heard isn't what I mean..."

JB's buying, another round of Kool-Aid for everyone. :toast:

On Tuesday I saw that whole interview on CNN. When it was his turn to speak he wanted to address three points. While addressing those three points Black said, "This is a very serious case, involving not just the loss of the life of this little girl, but the loss of whatever is going to happen with Casey Anthony" For him to now come out and say he was just responding to the ex- law enforcement dudes comments is just a joke. The whole defense team are not qualified to take on a case like this. This trial is going to cost a fortune between court costs, paying private investigators, forensics specialists, etc. We already know damned well the A's have no money. Casey would be better off at this point to let the court appoint her an attorney, and be done with Baez. Baez would be best off walking away before he makes an even bigger A$$ out of himself in the public eye. This case will not make him famous. When the State is done chewing him and his team up, and spitting them out nobody will hire them on. JMO

They have leads that will bring Caylee home soon, but he cant tell anyone what those are. The bad guys might hear and "harm" Caylee.
Geezzzzzz O Pete...I thought that's where the FBI might be able to help. Oh wait..they did help. They testified to the GJ about what they found out. WHOOOPPPPPPSS Rut Ro.....:waitasec:

Why does an "engagement announcement" keep popping into my head!!! Seriously...what the heck can he have to say....more ums and ahs...and maybe he's dropping off the case????

"Uhmmm...My....idiotic.......uhmmm....spokesperson.....said that....uhmmm.......Caylee is dead and .....uhmmm even though it is obvious to even my........uhmmm........own spokesperson.....the........uhmmm media misheard (kind of like CA's mistruths and inopportunities) and he uhmmm.....did not say death of ......uhmmm her daughter.......uhmmm....he said......uhmmm......DESK, yeah, DESK of her daughter. She......uhmmm is dealing w/the loss of her DESK. Yea, thats the ticket."

If he does not fire Black after the grossly amauter press releases, he should now. Wow. The levels of idiocy are AMAZING to me.

Is there legal precedent for what Baez is requesting, ie. have other non-qualified attorneys been allowed to try death penalty cases in Florida?

I can't imagine why she'd want an obviously-unqualified attorney representing her on such serious charges, but if a judge questions Casey and she agrees under oath that she is willing to continue with Baez, wouldn't it make it far more difficult for her to claim attorney incompetence when she's convicted?
