Bail paid on all but child neglect charge-why?

IMO, LP is ridiculous. WHY is he continuing to give her the benefit of the doubt??? she hasn't shown herself to be trustworthy in ANY way. Respect for him is dwindling.

did the Anthonys put up their house as collateral to get that $50,000? that would seem to me to be the only way they could have come up with that kind of money.

He actually said he would bond her out AFTER she told investigators where Caylee is located. If Caylee is found because of information Casey gives investigators, he will bond her out in other words.

The Anthonys did not put their house up as collateral to my knowlege. I believe that was totally between the bounty hunter and the bail bondsmen.

Nobody paid the $50,000.....it was just like three thousand for the new charges so she still stays in jail

Actually 10% of $3,000.00.

You still have to have $500,000 in colateral in case she skips out, the Anthony's don't even have $50k in equity in their house according to the original bond hearing or assets near that amount. A new bondsman may guarntee the cash which is $500,000 but he has to make sure the Anthony's have something worth that much so he can collect property or assetts and they do not have it. Probably because CA kept stealing money and running up debts.

I suspect family members did the bond for the lesser charges. LP was on TV last night saying he may bond Casey out again IF she will tell Caylee's location.

It was McDonald's or Macdonald's bail bond company that put up the bond for the lesser charges either Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

The time you spend in jail is credited toward your sentence. They bailed her out on all but the most serious charge, that will likely carry the longest sentence so it is on record that this time she is spending in jail was related to that charge, therefore it will be credited as time served on the neglect charge.

So why in the world would they post that bail and waste their money knowing she wouldn't get out anyway.

3 more charges were added yesterday

They paid every charge but the biggies. All the ones related to all the checks. The ones she was arrested for last Friday and the ones she was charged with yesterday. I posted on page 2 about the reasoning. :)

She's talking about last Friday's charges were bonded Sat. Sun. or Monday. The first set of check charges.

But the newest charges were filed yesterday..how could they have done that last week..are you thinking of the previous charges?

All I know is last Saturday it was reported that McDonald's Bail Bond was going to post the bond regarding the newest charges from Casey's arrest on Friday. Now whether or not McDonald's went and posted bond including newest charges as of yesterday, I have no clue.

All I was trying to do was indicate is there was a bail bond company that posted bond and this was in the newspaper and "no clue why Baez was unaware". We knew on Saturday about McDonald's Bail Bond Company but came as a surprise to FOX 35 today!

I would assume she is meaning the charges from 8/29...

MacDonald paid for both sets of bonds.

I wonder if the lady at SD paid the bail just like she sent the pizza?

I had just read that > "Anthony's defense attorney, Jose Baez, was at the jail for the 9 a.m. initial appearance, and told reporters he did not know the bond had already been posted this morning." :behindbar

and he said that he didn't see the point in MacDonalds bail paying the bonds.. if they weren't going to cover the $500k bond as well
