Nick Cage has made more than that (movies pay better than TV) and is broke by Hollywood standards. In Nick's case, it's due to an appetite for real estate; he just kept buying more and more properties. He literally bought more real estate than he could maintain.

In Charlie's case... well, he admitted under oath to spending over $50K on prostitutes in one year. I imagine his booze bill, drug bill, hangers-on, general Hollywood lifestyle (private jets, etc), have pretty much kept him tapped out.

Allegedly Brooke Mueller was receiving $55K per month in child support but that's only $660K a year, not even half of what Charlie made for one episode of the show. He may at some point blame her for his "poverty" but clearly, his obligations to the twins is a minor budget item.

And, Singer says, Charlie isn't the first star who couldn't co-exist with Lorre. Rosanne Barr and Brett Butler also couldn't work with Chuck. On the other side of the coin, Lorre is the most successful producer in TV currently, with three hit shows on the air -- "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mike and Molly."

I really hope this will be a 'come to Jesus meeting' for Carlos. However, I am not holding my breath. If having his sons removed from the Sober Valley Lodge didn't open his eyes, I don't know what will!!

Although I am happy that WB has grown a pair and ended this problem (temporarily), I will not be at all surprised if all the hatchets are buried and Carlos has his job back in a months time. (He is a cash cow after all!)

Those poor baby boys! If ANY of us were to display such behavior as Carlos has exhibited these past two weeks, we would be taken away by the men in white shirts and stripped of all parental rights!

And how many free passes and slaps on the wrist is this trainwreck allowed before he kills somebody? Look at his past record!

I guess he really is WINNING! when I think about it.

What a selfish, spoiled , chit arse! He is nothing more than an amoeba as far as I am concerned. MOO

What I'm afraid of is CS going into rehab and getting doctors to say that he was in an acute manic phase and Warner Bros will give him another chance. Actually, if he had a brain cell left that hasn't been fried by drugs that is exactly what he should do.
