This guy is free falling, spiraling out of control towards a hard landing. His pompous, obnoxious attitude makes him a guy easy to hate, but he is definitely in the grips of horrible psych and substance abuse demons. Gotta feel bad for him. He's like watching a train wreck about to happen, sad and scary. I wish they could 5150 him for his own good, but it would be temporary at best. He is a man on a mission to self-destruct.

I suspect Denise Richards is standing by his side, willing to let him fall to the pits of h*ll, act as he pleases, just to stay in his good graces. His ONLY 'true friend'. Cough, sputter. She is taking advantage of his instability and is truly his worst enemy. Enablers have something to gain, bottom line. She knows what side her toast is buttered on. JMO.
She sure is not doing anything to help, nor publicly calling him out on his behavior, nor protecting her children. All she says is, "You'll have to ask Charlie." What kind of woman drags her kids cross country to wine and dine with her out of control ex along with his entourage of pornlets and hookers? Yeah, I would say she is motive driven..

There is a bar in Aruba called 'Carlos and Charlies'. Perhaps Estevez/Sheen should go there and belly up to the bar so he can be all he wants to be! Jeckyl and Hyde.....

As far as Denise.... She and Carlos (i'[ve decided to refer to him by his real name nowadays) were married when 2.5 men began. She is a part owner of the show or has a vested interest in it somehow but I can't quite remember how.

Word is (and this was back in the day) that when DR came onset, things were tense and the crew viewed her as a bit of a 'dragon lady'. Maybe she put a damper on things because there was so much animosity between her and Carlos during that time. Maybe this opinion was formed due to the fact that she did not gift bottles of expensive burboun to the crew members at Christmastime. But maybe she was there to protect and oversee her investment that she made while married Carlos and was no-nonsense, ie professional. Who would know his demons better than she?

I cannot fault DR. She was in NYC with her children and attended a play with her kids and their dad. I did similar things with my ex. I wanted my kids to know their dad and spend time with him, and I also wished for him to like them enough to want to make a change and feel 'fatherly' toward them. But sometimes, despite your best efforts, the addiction wins out. That's just the way it be sometimes.

Carlos is a despicable man....not even a man....maybe a half a man....a shell of a man...
Whatever he is, he needs to get over himself. He aint all THAT ennymore.

Dr. Drew should just keep quiet about this, imo. He is not going to get this guy on his show, no matter what. I wonder what his success rate is. AA works for the ones who want it to work. He doesn't need to be negative about this program. For a lot of people, AA is all they have.

Well, his success rate isn't all the great with his celebs. Gummy Bear (aka Jason Davis) was charged with Felony Heroin Possession on 2/23/11. He was recently on celebrity rehab.

Thats an understatement..Charlie Sheen has gone completely OFF the deep end..and I have to wonder why we havent heard from his father??..Voice of reason..Maybe he can reach Charlie???..

It really is painful to watch a human completely emplode infront of you..yet his "Red Flaggs" got ignored, and his behaviors rewarded by fans and corporate demands,,,Kind of tells ya abit about the mentality of the " Star World" and those that gain billions of dollars accepting such behaviors!!

This is sad...... It's almost painful and comical to watch at the same time. Comical only because he is making such a jack donkey of himself and doesn't even realize it. Sad, for far too many reasons to list but one of which is my 8 yr old son absolutely loves Two and a Half Men. It's one of the few shows that both his dad and I like..... We occasionally catch the reruns.


On an odd note, the fact that Charlie made news was enough to get my son up and out of bed this morning after being sick and having his sleep schedule a bit off.... NO, I did not let my 8 year old watch the full clips, he saw a tame bit of one ( on WGN ) and lost interest by the time he came home from school. It's a sad day when I have to resort to using celebrity gossip to get my tired son out of bed in the morning.

I had hoped Charlie made his comeback years ago..... but apparently he's not ready to get out of self destruct mode.

I respect your point. But I appreciate Drew's honesty. 12-step programs are a wonderful way for any person who wants to to save their lives from the scourge of alcohol and drug abuse; but they only work for a small percentage of abusers. And they are not the way for everyone.

Even treatment programs are beginning to realize and address the limitations of 12-step recovery, and I think that's a good thing because it allows us to investigate other positive options for recovery.

But the truth remains - it doesn't matter if an individual finds Jesus, Allah, Bill W. or antabuse....a person will not get clean if they don't want to. Period. End of discussion.

Charlie just pushed this too far...his rants on the radio show were less than productive, for he is now out of work...not to mention his self rightousness...it appears like Charlie done lost his mind... "OK, last I checked, Haim, I've spent, I think, close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold, and the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is write. Clearly someone who thinks he is above the law. Well, you've been warned, dude. Bring it."

Sheen said he didn't believe in the Bible, which was full of "talking snakes."

And he advised Sunday churchgoers: "(You're) missing a lot of good sports, people."

There were also some additional, confusing references to ninjas.

Later in the day, Sheen contacted TMZ with more of the same bile. "I violently hate Chaim Levine (Chuck Lorre), the site reported Sheen saying. "He's a stupid, stupid little man and a p**sy punk that I'd never want to be like." Sheen added, "That's me being polite."

Sheen had taunted Lorre, CBS and Warner Brothers before, saying that he was ready to go back to work even though he was meant to be taking time off to "recover" from several weekend binges with prostitutes and drugs, one of which landed him in the hospital.

Lorre's been flinging heavy stones at Charlie Sheen in the press and at the end of 2 and 1/2 Men (which I've never seen)....did anyone really expect someone of Sheen's makeup not to respond to all that public trashing?

Lorre didn't take the high road any more than Charlie did. It's poetic that neither of them will be able to belly up to the runaway money altar of this show anymore.

Agree with you. And, imho, it's not drugs talking here - it's men pounding their chests and playing war games for the public....acting a part.....something little boys have been doing forever.

I think he just may be..Hitting bottom is often what opens our eyes to the fact that we have a problem. I can't see that he can get any worse unless he dies. I think this mess may be a blessing in disguise .. may be just what the man needs to get out of self destruct mode. Sometimes imploding can be a good thing. This is a seemingly toxic mixture of many things. But I can't overlook the fact that Charlie Sheen has been getting in his own way for many, many years. This is a man who has had every possible opportunity to get healthy and has obviously chosen not to. I am out of sympathy. I hope his ex-wives are moving to protect his children right now.

Unfortunately relapse is often part of recovery. There's lapse and relapse. I hope it was just a lapse and that guy gets back on track.
