Belgium approves child euthanasia

I hope that they have strict rules in place that only a Dr can authorize the use of euthanasia after it's proven that the illness is indeed irreversibly terminal.

I can see some munchausen by proxy parents asking for this.

In the end though, I do agree with ending the suffering of terminal patients.

In Munchasens by proxy, the person seeks out and enjoys the attention she gets from having a sick child. Having the child die would cut off that attention at some point after the funeral. I doubt very much that child euthanasia would be sought after by a parent with this mental illness. IMO
