On Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at approximately 10:25 a.m., the lifeless body of a man was found in the Brussels canal near Jules De Troozplein. To date, this person has not been identified.
The man appears to be between 35 and 45 years old and has black skin. He is approximately 1.80 meters tall, of normal build, and has a black beard and a thin mustache.
He has a tattoo on the right side of his chest depicting an eagle with outstretched wings. There is scar tissue on the eagle's wing.
He wears a white ‘BoohooMan’ T-shirt with three green/black/white stripes on the shoulders and the word OFFICIAL on the back, and gray ‘Smma’ tracksuit trousers.
