Circumstances of Disappearance
Bosmans was last seen at the Texaco gas station on Boulevard General Jacques in Etterbeek, Belgium on October 6, 1988. Bosmans was employed at the station at the time. He has never been seen or heard from again.
Bosmans' mother identified a pair of his jeans, which had been discovered at the home of convicted pedophile and murderer, Marc Dutroux. At the time of his disappearance, Bosmans was a member of the same video club as Dutroux's friend and fellow pedophile, Jean-Michel Nihoul. It has not been proven that Dutroux or Nihoul were involved in Bosmans' disappearance.
