Geijsbregts was last seen on February 26, 1991, when she was dropped off by her parents at the school bus stop in Bertem-Leefdaal, near Brussels. She never arrived at school and has never been seen again. A witness saw her climb into a grey Toyota.

A suspect in her disappearance is Michel Stockx, a truck driver from Belgium, who is in jail imprisoned for the murders of three children.

Big search operation for the remains of a girl that disappeared 32 years ago draws a blank

The major search operation in the to find the body of Nathalie Geijsbregts that was mounted in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Rotselaar on Tuesday proved fruitless.

Following a tip, detectives searched an area close to the home of a man that previously been a suspect.

The Leuven Public Prosecutor's Office says that the criminal investigation will continue until her body has been found.

And according to this article, her family provided DNA this year. (I can't believe LE didn't ask for it sooner. JMO.)
