The tour boat people know who was on their tour, I imagine. Do they take credit cards? Most tour operators do.

There is nowhere for her to go but in the water. Now how she got there I’d a different matter.

I read upthread there were reports she wasn’t acting right. There than that Kelly Glover comes to mind who left her hotel room in the middle of the night and was found the next day drowned. I have to bring it up......was Alison a sleepwalker or take sleep medication? IMO

SBM

Exactly.

ETA: I wonder why there is no word on a more urgent water search with helicopters, etc. Or did I miss that?

I was in Belize (San Pedro) a couple years ago, and the number of absolutely wasted middle-aged tourists there was astounding. There was one couple that was drunker and more scarlet beet red every night, I honestly don't know how they were still standing after a few days. They were near purple with sunburn and incoherent every time I saw them. There's not a heck of a lot to do besides drink at night and there are local margaritaville-style bars everywhere. (It was not my scene.)

Obviously Alison and her boyfriend were on a tour, but just giving a bit of insight into the tourist culture there as I saw it. I wonder if the catamaran was a booze cruise?

This video report indicates that her boyfriend owns several properties on the island of Belize and that they were eventually planning to live there.

A family member is interviewed and says that Alison went there to get away for a bit after dealing with the death of a step father and (father- I think) over the last year. They go on to say they have spoken with the boyfriend and say he is distraught and they don’t believe he had anything to do with this.

A question I have is - did they (or maybe just boyfriend) have other friends on this tour?
