Prince Charles has invited Beyonce Knowles to dinner at Buckingham Palace

He also invited the rapper Jay-Z. He's inviting the couple to the palace as a thank-you for taking part in a concert for The Prince's Trust.

Beyonce, 22, will headline the Urban Music Festival at London's Earls Court on May 8 and 9.

They will be joined by stars including Jamelia, Alicia Keys, The Streets, Big Brovaz, Dizzee Rascal and Lemar. A friend of the former Destiny's Child singer told The Sun: "She's thrilled by the invitation."
