Some are discussing Tracey, LP's employee who was with Casey while out on bond. There were letters released and we have seen that Tracey has written to Casey. I had posted on the letters thread that Tracey was not on the witness list and then wanted to find any threads on this subject. I had forgotten that Padilla's team's testimony would come in...

We have Tracey writing to Casey and saying, "don't worry I won't say anything", how does this all come together, I wonder?

At the time the Defense was fighting hard to not allow the Padilla crew testimony to be allowed at all.
The Judge ruled that he would not deny their testimony.
However, the State does not have to use any of that group of people as witnesses in the murder trial.
As of today, none of that group are on the State's Witness List (the Official List is on a separate thread here at WS).

I agree with the SAs office. Having them as witnesses will only create a circus atmosphere in court. They aren't needed and it certainly will put a damper on their writing creativity, leaving that chapter out. Bad enough they are planning to write a book or movie script.

I use to like LP until I read those emails that he was corresponding and working with JB. :croc:

Now you really are taxing these brain cells of mine. RP mentioned it in his posts along with his opinions of TMcL. Then I recall, don't bet heavy on it though, in the docs that had Dom's emails and all.

I don't have the doc list on my iPad so I can't get to them and I am not sure if I even saved the files.

But I do remember immediately changing my opinion of LP after that. I cut him a break when he was on NG because he was entertaining, but after The TMiller fiasco I wasn't too impressed with him.

Hopefully someone else with a younger memory will chime in for us. I'd like to re-read those docs myself.

March 1, 2009 Tracy is helping KC's DEFENSE by routing emails from her "Traceydawn" email account, from Crystal Sparks (Kronk's ex wife) to Cindy, then Cindy sent them to Dominic C.

Tony Padilla: I have no idea. I will share this with you though. Leonard talks regularly with Baez. Almost daily. Supposedly one of the attorneys and an investigator flew to Sacramento over the weekend and met with Leonard.

Here is a snip from Tracey's interview that describes the chloroform Casey spoke of BEFORE the reports were released from LE about it.


VELEZ-MITCHELL: That is the big circumstantial evidence but the evidence we`re getting in today is really forensics. Tracy McLaughlin worked with bounty hunter Leonard Padilla. He`s the one who first helped bail Casey out of jail, then sort of turned on her.

She told investigators, this helper of Padilla`s, that she was very alarmed when a conversation with Casey turned to chloroform.

Listen what she had to say.

TRACY MCLAUGHLIN, LEONARD PADILLA`S STAFF: I bring up GHB, I don`t know if you guys have ever heard of it. I`ve used it before. I know a lot about it. They call it a date rape drug now.

I posted a couple on the Tracy M thread .... there were a coupla threads Tony P was on ....

Do you guys think this is what Tony was eluding to when he said we were going to learn some upsetting ( not sure if that is the word he used, maybe some curios) news about Tracey and Leonard, that Tracey stayed in touch and sent money and tried to do sleuthing work with LP to help the defense?

Can any of you get him to come back on so we can ask if indeed they have penned the media deal that we all know is inevitable?

Yes, me too. And when I listened to TMs depo and/or statement, I was very disgusted. All her giggling got on my nerves.
